Jorts (neighbor cat I don’t know the name of so I refer to mentally for the icon) the other day ended up in the tree trying to hunt the scrub-jays. I was worried but it seems the jays were not fussed and practically teasing the kitty and he not too long later gave up.

Anyway, he’s very pretty even if a bit of a doofus.

Deer diary,

This is the second antler boi to visit! He’s a smaller and younger seeming one (less dark head and tarsal glands on back legs), fewer points on antlers. There was a doe (I think eyeliner goth one!) he briefly shared the yard with but then she was like ehhhh pass and scampered off. He tried following and came back a few minutes later, think he lost her. Hung out and munched all day. So happy to have them.

Here’s another regular visitor. This kitty is a bit of a scaredy doofus, but so pretty!! Kitty likes stalking the bird feeder but seems much too slow to cause any harm which is good, cause I was concerned.

Thinking about calling him Jorts. The black kitty would of course be Jean.
