The last to present their works were Robert and Loras. In Robert's paintings, Brienne saw experience, varied techniques, and an openness to experimentation. He mostly painted animals and nature, and his canvases were mesmerizing: they were so alive that, gazing at them, one seemed truly to be standing in the depths of a forest.

Loras liked to depict people, poses, and emotions. He spoke with great passion about what had inspired him to paint each work, and he seemed to have utterly charmed the spectators.

She forbade herself from thinking and dreaming about Renly. Truth be told, there was no sense in such dreams anyway: Brienne knew perfectly well who she was. Even if circumstances were different, there was no reasonable cause to flatter herself with hope—Renly saw her only as a friend. And it was enough for her to have the chance to be near him and talk. Love would fade with time; she simply had to wait.
