“Oh yeah, shame me. At least when I’m disgusting it’s on purpose.”
“If you spend all day shuffling words around, you can make anything sound bad.”
“I can’t abide bureaucracy. I don’t like being told where to go and what to do. I consider it a violation.”
“I’ve got a thousand memories of your dumb little ass and about six of them are pleasant.”
“I’ve got an emo streak. It’s part of what makes me so rad.”
“What kind of business do you do in a garage? Y'know, this seems a little shady.”
“Wow. That is a really intense line of questioning.”
“I hate to break it to you, but what people call ‘love’ is just a chemical reaction that compels animals to breed.”
“I have no code of ethics, I will kill anyone, anywhere. Children, animals, old people, doesn’t matter. I just love killin’.”
“You’re young, you have your whole life ahead of you, and your anal cavity is still taut yet malleable.”
“I’m not looking for judgement, just a yes or no.”
“Well, then get your shit together! Get it all together, and put it in a backpack - all your shit. So it’s together. And if you gotta take it somewhere, take it somewhere, y’know? Take it to the shit store and sell it. Or put it in the shit museum, I don’t care what you do! You just gotta get it together.”
“You dumb, stupid, weak, pathetic, white, white.. uh-uhh.. guilt.. white-guilt, milquetoast.. piece of human garbage.”
“What about the reality where Hitler cured cancer? The answer is: don’t think about it.”
“Fuck you? No, no, no, no, no, fuck me!”
“My new catchphrase is ‘I DON’T GIVE A FUCK!'”
“You’re like Hitler.. but even Hitler cared about Germany, or something.”
“You’re not gonna believe this, because it usually never happens, but I made a mistake.”

“Awww, a cute little boy! What’s your name, sweetie?”
mortimer looked to the duck. he looked her up and down before registering in his head she was pretty. but was usualy to sour to say anything.
his face heated at the ‘cute little boy’ and the ‘sweetie’ it made him feel warm. he was 14, but he shoved it off.
“E-erm..” he looked around shyly, it was kinda hard for him to talk in public but he was lost so w/e.
“i-im mortimer.” he managed to gurgle out.
“Oh, that’s such an interesting name.” She mentioned. “Hey, are you nervous or something?” She asked, noticing his demeanour. “You don’t have to be shy around me. I’m just nobody.”
he fiddled with his hands, a little shyly. he was just an angry shakey boy who was lost, it wasn’t un-normal of him to get lost.
he sighed, “w-well. y-you uh.. you don’t look like a.. erm..nobody.” he suggested, raising an eyebrow, but avoiding eye contact; “y-you.. seem pretty uHH, nice.” he wasn’t the best at reasuring people. he sent off a vibe that he was annoyed, it was nothing personal. he’s always annoyed.
“n-nothings uh.. nothings wrong. y-you know, just lost.” he stated, staring at her pretty long blonde hair.
She let out a little laugh. “Gee, thanks. Who raised you to be such a sweetheart?” She asked rhetorically. When he mentioned being lost, she nodded her head. “Well I can help you. Where are you trying to get to? Did you get separated from someone?”
mortimer started letting off this weird laugh, as his whole face heated red from being called a sweetheart ahhh omg she called me a sweetheart.
he finally mustered enough courage to look her in the eyes, rubbing the back of his mohawk, at a strange pace. “n-no, i didn’t uh. get seperated from anyone, i was just.. lookin’ for.. er, a place. and uh, got lost.” he forced a smile, his eyebrow twitching.
(( ok darcey is the cutest thing omg ;w; ))
“Well, which place were you looking for? I can’t help you unless I know where you’re going.” She explained, not picking up on how nervous he clearly was at the moment.
his eye twitched, he stared at the ground, hard. his mind had blanked.
“i-i-i.. uh. can’t remember,,,??” he replied, sheepishly.
“Oh… Well, that complicates things, doesn’t it.” She put a finger to her bill and thought for a moment. “Well… Would you like me to take you home instead? How old are you anyways?” What if he was a missing child, maybe she should just call the police and have them deal with him.
“i-im 14,,” he said as if that was a complicated question. considering it took him a few moments to recogonise what she had asked.
the setting was sane jose; in all honesty he doesn’t know how he got there, he lived in santa cruz california. but, she seemed pretty trust worthy. “uh, erm.. ah.. huuhhh,, ermm..” his brain malfunctioned for a second.
“s-sure! thanks,,” he took her up on the offer with that weird sheepish smile, his braces shinning.
“Ok, great! No problem. I can’t drive though, so we’ll have to take the bus.” She explained, going into her purse and taking out her phone. She typed their current location into the bus app so she could get the directions. “Okay, where am I taking you, Mortimer?”
he stared at that little gadget she had in her hands, what the hell is that?? he asked himself; he was too intrugied in what she was holding to hear what she had asked him.
“W-what’s that thing??” he pointed to the smartphone.
“It’s a phone. Haven’t you seen an iPhone phone before?” She asked. Maybe he was too poor to afford one. “Look, I’ll show you.” She knelt down to his height and turned the screen towards him. “This is an app I use to find out which busses to take. It’s got voice control too. Check it out.” She pushed a button. “Try it. Just tell the phone where you’re trying to go.”
“a phone?? iphone??” he seemed so fasinated, it wasn’t that he wasn’t poor; he just fell threw a portal, from his home; which took place in the 80′s. he hovered over her like a smol, watching her click all these bottons with these glowly lights and stuff. his eyebrow twitched,
“i-i.. uh,, i wanna go home. take me home, iphone!” mortimer ordered Siri, he gave the phone a pouty look- before poking the screen and whipping his hand back.
Darcey giggled. “The phone’s not that smart. You have to tell it an address or a city or something like that.” She explained. “Don’t worry, it was hard for me to figure out too.” She said. Not that phones were foreign to her at all, she just wasn’t the brightest. “I can do it if you want, but I need to know where I’m taking you.”
he shot his head to hers, before looking back to the phone, and up to her again with a confused look. he whispered, “y-you’re gonna.. uh.. h-hurt iphone’s feelings if you uh.. say its not smart. “ he suggested, raising a brow. “hmm.. I-i uh.. i erm.. uh- santa cruz.” he didn’t even really say a full sentence, he just grumbled out where he lived.
“Sorry I didn’t quite understand you.” said the phones robotic voice.
“Aww, you’re so sweet.” Darcey said, pulling the phone back towards her and patting the boy on the head. “But the phone is just a robot, it doesn’t have feelings. My little brothers explained it to me.” She simply typed the words ‘santa cruz’ into the app and got the bus directions. “The bus stop isn’t far from here.” She said. “I can take you to the Santa Cruz bus station. Can somebody pick you up from there?” She asked, beginning to lead him down the street to the bus stop.
