The castle has been abandoned for a couple of centuries now, and wind and weather had taken its toll on it and the surrounding countryside. Normal humans wouldn't be able to get up here for another couple of decades, leaving it in disrepair.

So the young man quietly walking around the outside was quite the anomaly. His glasses-covered eyes quietly traced the stone walls up, then slowly scanned the building for an entrance. There weren't any visible, but to his left was a strange indent. It was shaped like a normal human hand, but each finger had a large hole above it.

The man examined it carefully, then held up a hand and flicked it. Blue-black scales quickly appeared on it, but more importantly, each finger grew a long talon. As he pressed the hand to the indent, each talon found its way into a hole.

There was a soft click, and the stone began to glow like Ragnite. As the man took a step back, a trapdoor opened where he had just been standing, with Ragnite lamps to guide his way down the stairs below it. He warily looked down the stairs, then glanced at the sky to gauge the time before starting in

He didn't want to be late for his rendezvous with the rest of Class G, after all.

The Daws Desert is not supposed to be beautiful. It's a wasteland supposedly created by the Darcsens in their war with the Valkyrur. It's a land of sandstorms that will obscure the world more effectively than any fog, and a land of sun that will leave even the most lightly equipped scout dehydrated in fifteen minutes.

It's not supposed to be beautiful. And yet when he gets off guard duty for the night, he can't help but stare at the stars for a while as they slowly turn above him. And for that while, he's not Zeri, not a Darcsen-he just is.

(headcanon prompts) possession, falcon, drowsy, weapon, rain, shadows

Possession

Zeri is not all that attached to his possessions, save one-the Darcsen cloth armband he wears. Touching that without his permission is guaranteed to make him punch you at best.

Falcon

There is a young falcon on Lanseal's campus that Zeri has been training during his free time. So far, it's been going well, except for one thing-he can't seem to keep it from chasing Jarde. So far it hasn't caught the swift, but Zeri's not sure he wants to see what will happen if it does.

Drowsy

Zeri is surprisingly affectionate when drowsy. As in 'cuddle the nearest human being regardless of gender or willingness' affectionate. Avan's learned to put up with it, mainly because it makes for excellent blackmail.

Weapon

Zeri is surprisingly good with the fencer's swords. He's come close to disarming Alexis once or twice, and she thinks that he would have made just as good an armored tech as he does a shocktrooper.

Rain

Zeri loves watching rain-from inside. Put him outside to watch the rain and be prepared to deal with all manner of grumbling, because neither his hair nor his glasses agree with it.

Shadows

Zeri is a shocktrooper. Shocktroopers are not well known for their stealth prowess. This does not automatically mean that Zeri is incapable of stealth, as Class C has learned to their detriment on many a night skirmish.
