i’ve really come to a point in my life where i can’t stand the person i am. it’s so easy to fall back into bad habits and lose all sense of morality but it’s like trying to crawl out of the pits of hade’s asshole to come back from it. i’ve been dreaming so frequently because my mind is a disaster zone and it won’t let me rest, but this particular dream really resonated within me. so i drew this picture and felt the feelings fall out onto paper. it can be really unnerving making your art public but for me it’s such a sense of relief when i can make something that emulates my emotions. everything feels lighter. it felt like change and growth and everything i aspire for right now, a new moon and all that spiritual boloneys :-)

i keep dreaming my dad has come back to life, and that he was actually okay. or he’s been dead for three months, and we’re not allowed to tell him incase he goes into shock. or his face is just on another person’s body. or he’s crying over little boy’s graves. i stay awake until my eyes burn because i’m scared of what i might see
