In my experience, being transgender is a lot like you've had a rock in your shoe for your entire life. But because you've never known life without a rock in your shoe, you don't really think much of it.
You just kind of assume that everyone is a little bit uncomfortable all the time.
Until one day you're talking to one of your friends, and you're like, 'hey man, doesn't it suck that your feet hurt all the time?'
