I really liked this trend and I wanted to do frame by frame animation :)

It took longer than I expected cuz I was experimenting a bit with it!

And yes Ghost hit the targets spot on 😔🤙

I was gonna draw Soap being amazed by that but I got lazy smh

I have been working on this for a bit and I honestly liked the sketch better smh but eh it is what it is, and I need to figure out how to fix the damn quality to be better 😔

or a sketch so genuinely sickeningly sweet that it could rot your teeth. a little something while i'm still struggling with my uni projects. also, a closer look at the boys:

TSHD spoilers... sorta? About how this series could end mayhaps?

Now I'm mostly anime-only (although I do want the actual books), but I'm unopposed to seeking out the later chapters of the material because the story is just so freakin juicy; but in the wake of the new chapters that just dropped, I had some thoughts about a potential ending, and I just had to share!

(spoilers for (generally) chapter 37.4 under the cut!)

Alright, so ive mostly only seen screencaps of the manga on tumblr, so my knowledge is VERY limited, and I might miss some things: feel free to point them out, or add on.

As it stands, it's becoming harder and harder to imagine that this story will have a happy ending, or at least, one where both Hikaru and Yoshiki both are alive and well. Since 'Hikaru', from this point, keeps coming back and Yoshiki constantly is in the mental torture chamber, I think that a potential satisfying end would have to be a compromise.

Theory crafting time: Yoshiki, at the VERY END of his mental limit, goes into the forest on the mountain to either release or destroy 'Hikaru'/Nonuki-sama, depending on how attached he is by the end of the story: perhaps trying to end the ritual all together.

HOWEVER, perhaps in the process, Yoshiki would die: i don't know how, maybe either nonuki-sama is vengeful, or Yoshiki gives up his own life of his own volition or whatnot to be with him or to protect others, but either way he carks it up on the mountain.

And, as our compromise, mayhaps his soul lingers on, which in turn satisfies nonuki out of hunting the townspeople (for the time being), or becomes something of an eldritch horror himself like 'Hikaru' (due to the 'mixing') that works to fight against/settle nonuki's powers.

Perhaps with the other half of himself that Hikaru gave Yoshiki, perhaps it allows him to ascend to almost half of the power that Hikaru has after death? Like the yin to their yang (maybe after another wish)? Either way, maybe they're happy, maybe they're not in this scenario- again, depends on how strongly they want to be together.

But, but but- what gives this a sorta more peaceful end is thatyoshiki's body is still on that mountain, and with nonuki relinquishing control over hikarus body, then their corpses will finally be able to rest together in some way shape or form. Yoshiki will be able to finally rest near the boy he loves, and Nonuki will finally be able to have the soul that he oh-so-craves.

And perhaps, when all is said and done they end up becoming sort of urban legends themselves among future village generations, like new folklore. Though, even without it the story would be understandable.

Though this take is a bit of a stretch (especially that last paragraph, that's more wishful thinking), I honestly think that it could be one of the least tragic ways this story ends with how it's going so far. This also might just be me talking outta my butt, but I'm really excited to see how this goes. I've been loving the show so far, and I am biting at the bars of my cage to learn more!!!

HELLO EVERYONE!!! Apologies for not posting art so long, for some reason last term was kicking my butt very severely (as well as the world in general, lol), but hopefully now I'm on the mend! I still have to relearn how to use my artstyle and programs (especially for the continuation of the ghost-pj's post lol), but I think I'm getting back into digitizing things!

I've been sitting on this image for a while, and since it's been raining so much over here, I thought it'd be nice to post in a month of rain! I'm still getting used to shading lol, so any tips would be really nice. Also, I've started figure drawing classes, so hopefully my art will improve as I make more!
