The only daughter of the French family and also the strongest of the siblings physically.

INTRODUCTION:

The fastest, the wildest, the most nonchalant of the French’s. One year older than Vincent, two years younger than Harrison and the singular daughter of Cassandra French. You do not inherit her gentle spirit, you do not inherit your Father’s insane genius. All you take from your parents is their dashing good looks and an undefeated spirit, you think of your brothers as idiots -- all besides Charles that is. Something about him is different.

You are the strongest of your siblings and one of the last to get whisked away in genius. That never comes for you but your streak of villainy does. By the time everything starts to go massively wrong and you leave Whittemore you’re already planning a life of crime and by the time it comes to the disappearance of Charlotte and Harrison taking out your siblings, stopping them in their tracks, feels like a blood sport. You fight, you fence, you are a dedicated assassin of sorts. You outlive the rest because they won’t take their chances against you.

The year is 1992. Most of you belong here, others have just arrived for an unknown duration of time. It is the 1st of January of a year long since passed and everything is only just beginning to go horribly wrong. Dares and whispers in the corridor are keeping you all awake, you are going to be faced with new challenges and old.

Name: Helen Marks, 17

Closest confidant of James Trent.

INTRODUCTION:

You are always an outlier. On the edge of the crowd. You have no desire to join in on the games of Whittemore and you are the only one who ever questions the necessity of the dares. After all, at this stage there are no consequences. A stupid party game is controlling your lives and it seems completely ridiculous. You are too soft, that is the problem, you help those who cannot complete theirs, you shoulder the problems of others. You even listen to the worst of them talk about their crazy ideas to mess with science and fate but you turn a blind eye. It’s not like you believe it will come to anything more than a whacky science project.

GHOSTS OF FUTURES PAST: 

You are still good, Helen. Nobody really understands why you did what you did and took Hazel as your own daughter besides you. You did it for James. You did it for Charles. You did it for Emily. Your compassion may be misplaced but still you keep the secret of Hazel’s parentage close to your heart for the rest of your life, the key to the truth firmly in your hands, one that you never reveal. A few strands of hair confirm your suspicions but your baby daughter is always yours. You don’t know how to protect her from herself though and your new family is splintered when she jumps. You and your husband keep your own secrets strapped to your chest like a life vest and it keeps you both alive and together.

In relation to biographies. If your character is in the body of someone from the past, they do not possess any of the bodies memories, only their own.

E.G. Sam possesses his own memories and none of those which belong to the actual Martin Fawkes who lived in 1992.

Each biography barring Rose and Tristan, is split into two parts. 

The first part is that of present day (1992) and the things that are going on/affecting them as well as a summary of their history so far. The second part is a future that has not yet occurred and they have no knowledge of thus far, therefore while you know it is how their lives turn out, it does not affect the current way your character behaves.

Game play will begin on December 28th at 6EST.

Name: Ray Myers (Chase Myers), 17

House: Dudley

Time Frame: 1992

Chase only has the knowledge he himself possesses at the beginning of dare 3.0 (Olivia, his engagement to Charlotte and the pact that Whittemore would go their separate ways).

INTRODUCTION:

You’re a fly on the wall. Nothing really happened in your life until Whittemore. You hear arguments and fights, you hear things you never wanted to and you see things that damn right scare the crap out of you. Maybe if you weren’t such a coward then you would say something. Maybe you’d tell everyone you know who started the dares, maybe you’d tell them that you heard Orson French talking about draining his own blood, maybe you’d mention the weird scheming of his son Vincent in the lab. But you don’t. You become a bystander to something wicked.

GHOSTS OF FUTURES PAST:

The things you see at Whittemore have a detrimental affect on your mental health but the alcohol doesn’t help. You think you’ve moved on when you have a son with a woman that you love but it seems that she needs more. The kind of more that neither you or he can give to her. She leaves and you blame him. You will do anything not to blame yourself. And that’s just the beginning of the monstrosity that you become, a drunk disgusting man who takes what he wants. Except it isn’t what you want. It’s just another layer of indulgent darkness that you’re drowning in for the sake of it. Marrying Tessa McGuire is probably the most honourable thing you do before you die and that’s saying something.

Name: Alexander King, 17

INTRODUCTION:

You come from wealth. You’re an 80′s boy trapped in the 90′s. Charismatic. Likeable. The world could of been at your feet back in 1992. It seemed like nothing you ever did was enough to satisfy your need to be on top of the world. It wasn’t about politics or genius for you, it was about saving the world. Or maybe it was about proving you were a good person. Everything you ever dedicated your youth to was just another way to make yourself look good, as if being charitable would make you a person of importance. You never really figure out that you’re not pretending, you could of actually been the person you’re painting to the outside world if you just stopped trying so hard.

GHOSTS OF FUTURES PAST:

Yours turns into a story of villainy that nobody can piece together by the time you expose yourself. You take Marcel’s word and stories of time travel and a future with a son that has boundless talents and you write yourself into the narrative. Almost everything that goes extremely wrong for everyone else goes right for you. You conceal Marcel’s survival and watch the immune seven destroy one another, you give Howard Cross enough information to send him into a fixation over the time machine for years. But in every version of the story things take an unexpected turn because Marcel never tells you the story ends with your death. You kill Daisy and then the so called blessed son that you spend your entire life obsessing over kills you. He was no God, he was just a child and you never get the chance to apologise for everything you’ve done. You wasted your life.

Name: Carrie Sinclair, 18

INTRODUCTION:

At sixteen you are smart but not smart enough, you get pregnant at public school and your Mother promises you everything will be okay. It is. You have a little boy and he is an angel and she takes care of him, promising that he will always know who you are but you still get to live your life. You get enrolled into Whittemore because Cassandra French sees your potential and looks past your mistakes. You are a strong girl but you shoulder the worlds problems as if they were your own, cool and rational, a born leader. You don’t follow the crowd but you follow fact, logic. Your greatest weakness is the inability to separate facts from fiction when they come from the mouths of those you are taught to trust.

GHOSTS OF FUTURES PAST:

Your daughter takes your name but you pray every night that she takes no piece of your heart. She deserves more than that. You are left out of every deal the other four now strike for the rest of your life after submitting to killing Marcel after you receive the cure. It almost breaks your heart but in that moment, in the emptiness of your body, you look at your baby daughter and hope that one day the world will forgive you for your sins. Karma finds it’s way. You watch her suffer for the bad choice you made and then you watch her grow to despise the ground you walk on and you cannot say you blame her. Your own Mother is the only saving grace in a tragic situation and when Marcel takes your life it is the most peaceful day of your life for years.

Name: Martin Fawkes (Sam Fawkes), 18

Sam only has the knowledge he himself possesses at the end of dare reunion. 

INTRODUCTION:

You were a master in survival. Nobody really knew it but you were. At the age of 8 you had overcome more challenges than most people ever would. Survivor was burned into your skin. At the age of 3 you were diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia and by the age of 5 you were in remission. By 15 you were classified as cured. It should of been a celebration but it wasn’t. Your parents had to go away, or maybe they just wanted to. You were turned over to Whittemore like old goods but Orson French made you into a fighter, he made you understand your worth. Under his watch you became more of a fighter than you ever were but you filled space in any way you could, denial your best friend. You were lonely even if you were never alone. Your mind was restless and soon just surviving wouldn’t be enough for you.

GHOSTS OF FUTURES PAST:

Three’s a crowd. Seven is a nightmare. Whether it’s the voices inside your head or the actual voices, for the first time in your life you come undone. It is Loretta that gets you through it, in all her uncertainty and doubt, she is what holds the pieces of you together. You're the only one who isn’t part of the bargain with Vincent and Howard, the only one who would of laughed if they told you they were going to murder Amos and Marcel. You aren’t laughing though, you’re tied to a four poster bed going insane. The cure is the only relief when it comes but by the time it takes full effect it is far too late. You become the Father you were meant to be, the husband you wanted to be, the man you no longer are. By the end of your life you are as bad as the others. You would do anything to stay alive. Even let everyone else die.

Name: Emily Rose Cross, 18

Time Frame: 1992

INTRODUCTION:

Your Father is conniving and you do not possess the qualities that will impress him. You were never the smartest, you were never easily contained, you weren’t born to be. You are a girl that isn’t afraid to shout from the roof tops and even more so, you aren’t afraid to take your clothes off to get ahead. You never understood the game but you were playing it anyway. Maybe it was the partying, maybe it was the fact you were able to make everyone fall in love with you, but you have the world at your feet and you don’t even know it. All you know is that it’s a coin toss as to who is the black sheep of the family, you or Howard. Your life is dedicated to the dares, you only ever wanted to be the best at something.

GHOSTS OF FUTURES PAST:

In February 1992 you jump off the roof. You become an enigma. Literally. A secret behind locked doors and half the girl that you were before. You know something has happened to your head but you just don’t know what. At least now you aren’t running around like a mad woman, everything is calm and you spend years mourning the loss of a child that is taken from you and then even more mourning over a second. Both your babies are taken from your arms and you do not understand the way your love is traded, you don’t understand how any of this about. Your broken up fragmented memories, the way your mind words, or rather, doesn’t, lead you to believe that Vincent wants the best for you. You never mean to cause trouble. You just want your baby back. Instead you get a grandchild and that is good enough. You are the only one who believes you got a happy ending.

Name: Eric Bellamy, 17

Time Frame: 1992

INTRODUCTION:

If anything, you were one of the innocent ones. You were a great quizzer but you were never much else. You were on a panel, you always had your hand on the buzzer, hand on the pulse. You never meant to get tied up in dark and twisted experimentation, your parents would of never approved -- they were people of God. If it hadn’t been for Amos’ influence then you never would of been involved with science at all but he was your teacher. 

GHOSTS OF FUTURES PAST:

God didn’t make you to be a scientist and you know it. Amos never intended for you to take finding a new cure into your own hands. Everything you do goes against the laws of nature but when you produce your prototypes and hand them over then you don’t know how to undo what you have done. Like Frankenstein, you create a monster. You’re almost glad that you only have to see one grow up. When you go to sleep at night you wake up with terrible nightmares. You sweat and scream for years before it stops. All your energy is devoted to your daughter, your very own little monster. No amount of love can make you want to set her free. You love her but you fear her and that fear leads to a conditioning experiment wholly unnatural but only as unnatural as her. By the time you finally completely destroy your lovely and perfect creation, send her entirely around the bend, you’ve given up anyway. The Kings get to you long before Camille can and only in those final moments are you glad. You didn’t create monsters, you created people and then you ruined them. She doesn’t get to be the reason you die. She doesn’t get to be a murderer. Only in your death does everyone realise that there was a problem with your version of the cure... they were people and you never had the guts to kill them. That, in a twisted way, was your greatest success.

Name: Charlotte French (Daisy French), 18

Daisy, inside of Charlotte’s body, only has knowledge of what she herself knows of Charlotte’s life and not the full biography.

INTRODUCTION:

You live a fairly perfect life as it goes. You are popular and influential. Your parents are proud of you. Perhaps you are even proud of yourself at most times. You are happy but lonely. Sarah becomes like a sister to you and Whittemore becomes like a family. You fall hopelessly in love with Harrison French and more so in love with his family, who become like 8 very annoying siblings to you too. Being married at 18 isn’t the life most people would imagine but for you it is perfect.

GHOSTS OF FUTURES PAST:

You might of been sweet hearts once but after all you’ve done, you aren’t sure that you look at your husband the same way. You have two beautiful children together (on a technicality anyway), but his blood starts to run hot and yours cold. You have to live with the knowledge that you helped to kill Marcel and in turn played a hand in the death of your best friend, Sarah. By the time you realise your husband plays a part in it you are long gone anyway. On the night where all goes wrong, you barely escape with your life and what is left of it is not spent well. The only silver lining in your death is the hope that one day your daughter will grow up to be nothing like you.

Name: Howard Cross, 17

INTRODUCTION:

Your Father is a monster and so are you. In a different way. You’d never lay a hand on a woman. You watch your sister become a socialite and sleep with men to get ahead, she is older than you but you still feel like you should protect her. You hate your parents for allowing things to get this far and you hate your school board for turning a blind eye. You suspect that your sister has slept with almost anybody of importance including Charles and James. You suspect that she will continue to do so until she is stopped. You do not understand but you love her so you swallow your dented pride and look past her discrepancies. You’re an angry boy but you aren’t a bad one, always living on the edge of the cracks down your spine, promising that you will not crack. You are good at politics, you are good at people, you know one day you will be a great politician. You’re very good at pretending everything is okay. 

GHOSTS OF FUTURES PAST:

Emily jumps and dies. Or at least that’s what you think. In rage you poison and kill Orson French and that may have been the end of your vengeance had anyone known it was you. You figure out years later that Charles thinks he killed Orson and never found out his Father would of died anyway. You let him live with the guilt. You don’t live with your own. You are dead just like your sister. Your future children are pawns to get what you want. What you really want is for everyone that led to Emily’s death to burn in hell but you don’t get that luxury, instead you make the world your own hell and watch yourself and all you could of loved burn instead. Self harm or twisted revenge? Take your pick. It’s far too late by the time you figure out Emily is still alive, she’s not your sister anymore. Worse, you’re not her brother now. When eventually your own children murder you, you have only one strange and bitter thought... at least perhaps their vengeance will end. Yours never did. You never got to taste victory.

INTRODUCTION:

Little Loretta Klein, everything about you was meant to be pink and lace. You were meant to be raised on something beautiful but the only beautiful thing about your existence was empty promises. You swear by them every time your Mother raises her hand and every time you roll frilly socks over bruises. You swear by them so hard that when the police arrive at your house one day and start asking questions you just tell them that things are okay. You grow up with pitiful glances and delusion like a crown until one day your entire world breaks and you’re left to scramble to fit together your broken dreams in a prison visitation room with a woman who never really thought she’d change. There’s no bruises on the outside anymore, only in your heart. Maybe that’s why when you’re accepted to Whittemore and escape the care system you’re so grateful, not just to the French’s but to Howard Cross, his family put a good word in for you. You are just as stupid as you always were when it comes to hope, you give it to all the wrong people and you will do anything to fit in with the crowd. That is your greatest weakness.

All of them bruises on your heart come back to haunt you when you open the crypt that is your mind, all the intelligence you never wanted rips your eyes open horribly. You just want it to stop. Maybe that’s why you’re so willing to do anything, in your quest to save what’s left of yourself you will ruin everything and everyone who stands in your way -- it’s been a long time since you ruined yourself. You shake hands with Howard and let Amos die in a terrible plane crash because he may be the devil but he’s the devil you damn well know. You raise two beautiful children but every time you look into Clara’s eyes you see the darkness that you thought that you buried in yourself and that’s why you allow her to become a part of a terrible great plot, always telling yourself that it had to be done. Maybe you should of never been a Mother. You are glad when you die. In a way you knew it should of happened a long time ago.

INTRODUCTION:

Amos Harpe. You aren’t just another student at Whittemore, you didn’t go there first. You’ve seen the world, you’ve excavated the ground in foreign countries and worked your ass off solving impossible problems. You are a scholar, one of the best, you finished your A levels before your 15th birthday and you continued to embark on your journey to greatness until you decided it was time for a break. You never asked for Whittemore and it never asked for you but when you met Orson French you were won over at the age of 18 and he offered you the chance to do what you did best; teach. You were never much for children or classrooms but somehow in your little office at Whittemore you find yourself at home, you just don’t understand the constant question he poses; is it possible to live forever?

GHOSTS OF FUTURES PAST:

Everything you tried to do is thrown back in your face. For your attempts to save the lives of your former classmates you are murdered in cold blood and only your long term companion and best friend Marcel survives. You never get to see your cure reach it’s full potential and you never get to see your son grow up. Not only you but your wife and pilot are murdered in a conspiracy plot... All because of a series of events that you never asked to be involved in. You left behind clues. You always had faith that one day your son could finish what you started. In your last moments you relinquish your dream that you could of fixed this together one day but your hope lives on.

Name: Karen Bell, 18

Time Frame: 1992

INTRODUCTION:

Your parents never understood you, they made you feel like an alien. Your Mother was a blonde permed Olivia Newton-John wannabe and your Father was a completely indecent insurance broker. Between the two of them they couldn’t stand up to your intelligence never mind comprehend it. In a strange way it made you afraid, you wanted to be like them, to dumb yourself down. After all, this is real life, not Matilda. It didn’t mean your story didn’t go in a similar direction though, at eleven years old your legal guardianship was signed over to Orson French but really you were now property of Whittemore. You liked it, whether you were wiling to admit that or not, but to fit in you had to pretend to be an idiot. Had to? Strange choice of words, it’s just what you did. Nobody suspected a thing but you were left to follow a crowd that was heading in the complete wrong direction and your fear of rejection was the one thing standing in the way of what was right.

GHOSTS OF FUTURES PAST:

All those years of pretending to be an idiot seem like a waste because what it led you to was the inability to contain your genius. Unlike the others you are not allowed a dignified death or even an undignified blood cure. Your deal with the devil, one you made only to fit in and pretend to be a fool, even if Orson always knew the truth, leaves you abandoned inside your own head. You want to tell your son to love his brain, to love how smart he is, to love the parts of himself that you always hated, but instead you teach him to be even more afraid. One day you’re overwhelmed with numbers for the last time and you spend the rest of your days in white padded rooms with monthly supervised visits trying to get a message to your little boy but he grows up and never understands and you’re screaming on the inside but on the outside you’re only screaming equations as you watch him suffer for your choice too.
