Purpose and reason, two words I find myself contemplating more than ever these days. It's as if one has led me to the other. So much diligent study, hours spent sequestered away from the world in this pursuit, and an untold amount of sacrifice, all leading up to today. Though there's been no welcoming party or gun fired in the air, I'm finally ready. My departure today is me coming off the blocks. I leave with no anticipated return date other than "when the job is done."
Buy a one way ticket somewhere foreign and leave all your expectations at home.
Life has so much more meaning now.
