On September 6, 2020 feminist activists broke into the office of the director of the national commission on human rights in Mexico City. The action was taken in protest against a state that does nothing to prevent the killing and rape of girls and women in Mexico

INCREDIBLE! All because I said ācops should be the ones who should be punched and harassedā. Soooooo.... itās apparently okay for those blue criminals to harass and hurt minorities but I canāt speak the truth about the thugs who control people! Twitter tends to not understand the truth about those fascist shitbags š
For many of us fighting the ravages of the prison industrial complex, George Jackson is a source of inspiration and discipline. Almost fifty years ago, George Jackson pleaded:
āSettle your quarrels, come together, understand the reality of our situation, understand that fascism is already here, that people are dying who could be saved, that generations more will die or live poor butchered half-lives if you fail to act.
Do what must be done, discover your humanity and your love of Revolution. Pass on the torch. Join us, give your life for the people.ā
On August 21,1971, Jackson was assassinated by guards at San Quentin Prison during a prison rebellion. The month of August bursts at the seams with histories of Black resistanceāfrom the Haitian Revolution to the Nat Turner Rebellion, from the Fugitive Slave Law Convention and the foundation of the Underground Railroad to the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters, from the March on Washington to the Watts Uprising, from the births of Marcus Garvey, Russell Maroon Shoatz, and Fred Hampton to the deaths of W.E.B du Bois and George Jacksonās own younger brother Jonathan killed while attempting to free the Soledad Brothers from prison.Ā
We celebrate Black August, commemorating the anniversary of George Jacksonās death while understanding his life as a revolutionary in a long and unbroken line of resistance and sacrifice of Black people throughout history.
Iām creating an anarchist commune soon!!!!

things are going down in atlanta. people have shut down the I-75 in response to Rayshard Brooks' murder. its hard to find information on here - I don't know if it's tumblr shutting down the tags or what - so it's important to share.
Protesters angry over the fatal police shooting of a black man at a fast-food restaurant in Atlanta marched onto the highway Saturday, shutt
Atlanta's police chief resigned Saturday hours after a black man was fatally shot by officers in a struggle following a field sobriety test.
police are cracking down on protesters. they pepper sprayed protesters and used flash bangs to attempt to clear people out from the Wendy's where Rayshard was murdered by police. it was after this that the Wendy's was set on fire
atlanta police have been notorious for brutality against protesters. an official amendment to a statement from the US Secret Service was released 14 hours ago (13/06/20) proving Atlanta PD's use of tear gas against protesters after weeks of lying:
the protests are working - the officer that killed Rayshard has been fired - but no one is facing charges yet, and this has to stop. in the words of Rayshard's cousin, Decatur Redd:
"We've been watching this happen for so many years, with young black boys around the country just dying in vain. I just don't want that to continue and keep happening like that."
