Let’s dance to joy division, and celebrate the irony. Everything is going wrong, but we’re so happy.
Morgana was born to a blacksmith and a seamstress, both of whom made just enough money to make ends meet. When they found that the mother was pregnant with a baby boy when Morgana was four years old, the three of them couldn’t be happier. However, a few months into the pregnancy, the doctor told them that the baby would be severely disabled if it were born. They never found out, though, as Morgana’s mother passed away during the last month of her pregnancy, taking with her her unborn child. Within half a year later, Morgana’s father acquired several severe burns from his work, and passed away as well, leaving Morgana in her uncle’s care.
However, Morgana did not become silent and gloomy as expected of a girl who’d lost her family at such a young age. Since her parents’ passing, she accepted that unfortunate things can happen in the world, and that there was no point in worrying about things that were inevitable. When she was 13, she and her uncle were robbed, losing most of their precious items. While her uncle was distraught and tried to do everything in his power to replace and compensate for their losses, Morgana accepted it, even being a little amused at the incident, and moved on fairly quickly. She has learned to detach herself from the bad things surrounding her, looking past the negative aspects of life, choosing to be amused by them instead of disappointed or angry. She’s constantly in a chipper mood, and even her own misfortune doesn’t get her down.
Enrolling at Mount Olympus High a year ago was an exciting experience for her, as she’d heard stories of the tragic lives of high school students. During her first year, she was estranged after word got out at her apparent lack of distress at the fire that broke out at school and at the death of one of their best athletes. Her twisted dark nature repels many people, but she doesn’t mind much. She just stays on the lookout for news, whether good or bad, and does her best to help in any way she can.

[CHIPPER] – As she doesn’t allow herself to mope for very long over misfortunes, Morgana’s quite lively for a girl who has experienced so many heartbreaking events in her life. She doesn’t dwell on bad experiences, and instead latches on to any good news she can find.
[EASYGOING] – Morgana likes to comment on other people’s lives and respond to their complaints, whether they were talking to her or not. She’ll allow people to complain to her about the most trivial things, listening with a blend of fascination and cool amusement. She faces ups and downs with the same attitude, which hardly changes.
[TACTLESS] – Because she doesn’t really get distressed at the same things others do, many people find her to be insensitive to their problems. She offers the least helpful words of consolation at times (though whether on purpose or not, people aren’t sure) such as “I’m sure your dead father is happier now!” Many people take her words the wrong way and snap back at her for it, but Morgana just brushes it off and goes to find the next misfortune to talk about.
