( In what situation was your character the most afraid they’ve ever been? )

Hmm…-he pondered, his brow furrowing as he closed his eyes, racking his brain for an answer- Well, there are several instances where I was afraid. However, I guess I would say the moment I was terrified was when I thought that I’d lost to Bakura when I had chased him down after the altercation in the palace shortly after I returned to the ancient past. In that moment, I thought that I had failed to save the world from the rise of the Shadow Games. -he looked up then- Does that answer your question? Or was I too vague? I apologize if that is the case.

ooc:// I am TOTALLY ok with that!!  -Atem’s body tensed in reaction to the familiar voice, his heart beginning to pump adrenaline throughout his body, preparing to fight if necessary. A low growl escaped his lips as he turned to face the newcomer, knowing very well who it was- Make no mistake, thief, I don’t speak about having a fear of you. The fear I had was for that of my friend’s lives that exist in the modern age. I was afraid for them because I knew my failure meant the destruction of their world and everything in it. -His burgundy gaze was intense as they stared at the man across from him, his heartbeat steady despite his agitated state-

-Atem grimaced and his eyes narrowed into an intimidating glare as his anger flaring in reaction to the thief king’s threat. His next words left his lips in a low, guttural growl- Watch yourself, thief! Your threats hold no merit and you will not succeed! Not as long as I still draw breath! I’ll stop the rise of the shadow games once again and you will face the justice of the Millennium Trail. It may not have succeeded before, but I promise you, this time it will not fail. You will be the broken shell of a man that you once were, that I swear.
