” Okay.” Sophie went over to the box and opened it. The purpled haired girl looked inside. ” Oh another crablet cake, thank you.” She tilted her head a bit. ” Can I take it out?”

"Of course you can!" Lenalee chirped happily, clasping her hands together as she hoped Sophie would enjoy it. "I even improved on the recipe from the last one I made you, so I hope it's even tastier than that one was!" She was rather proud of herself for managing to turn crab omelets into a cake after all. Then again, with a little help from Jeryy, it wasn't too hard to figure out.

” Oh you did?!” Sophie asked coming out of the room by her. ” What is it?! Is it for my birthday?” It was her first birthday ever so she was happy that Lenalee remembered

Lenalee pointed to the box that Frederic had placed on the floor for her. "Open that box and you'll find out, okay?" She grinned over at the humanoid before adding a rather enthusiastic, "Yes, it's for your birthday! Happy birthday, Sophie!"

Krory’s face lights up for the first time in a little while and he grabs Lenelee’s hand with enthusiasm, eager to start his flowers as soon as possible.

“Oh, Miss Lenalee, thank you! I will grow the most beautiful orchids, i will grow new varieties, just you wait and see…” then he blushes “I will name one after you, as a thank you for all the kindness you have shown me”

His cheeks still burning, he lets go of her hand, clearing his throat

“Orchids are very fragile blooms, they need heat and light,  much care. love and attention. If they do not get this they wither and die…”

Eliade, my most precious flower…. your blooms did not last.

His shoulders slump a little but he tries his best to keep his mood light, despite his inner turmoils. He will have his flowers to remember his true love

Lenalee felt her face warm up slightly at the mention of having a flower named after her. It was such a sweet gesture, and she was never sure how to respond to acts of such kindness like this.

"Is there anything you need to get started? I'd be more than happy to help you out with anything," the girl offered her services. It was the least she could do for a friend, right?

Plus, maybe helping him out with his gardening endeavors would help calm her own busy mind.

Not to mention the fact that she'd noticed the slight slump in his shoulders, and was hoping to restore some of the pep he'd had moments earlier.

Lenalee wandered up to the door of Lhant manor, like she had many times before; only this time, she had a rather large box in tow. Seeing as it was Sophie's birthday, she had to give her something special, didn't she? Surely Sophie would know what was in the box before she even opened it, since it was what she'd been asking the exorcist for for quite a while now. She balanced the box on one of her hands, and reached up to knock with the other. As usual, Frederic opened the door for her, let her in, and helped her set all of her things down. She nodded a small thank you to him, and then walked over to the door of Sophie's room. "Oh, Sophie! I brought you birthday goodies!"
