Been away for too long....

Okay, so I think I was last here in October. Its now January very bold of me I know! So I got my weight down to 13 st 3 lbs before Christmas but during the fesitive season I went a little bit crazy with food and sweets. My weight shot up to 13 st 10 lbs. My mum and I decided new year new us and we joined slimming world! So I am down to 13st 7lbs as of last week and weighing in tomorrow wish me luck!

Mothers say the strangest things!!

So this morning I went for coffee with my Mam. We went through the usual bits of conversation, the weather, my daughter, work, family and money.

After sometime we got on to the topic of fashion. My Mam  comments on my scarf and umbrella (both gifts for my 30th, the scarf from my Mam ) she goes on to say that “the lace on the umbrella isn’t exactly you but it works!”

Then she continues with, your very like that la strangest person.

I’m questioning her trying to figure out who she means. Her following quote… “The Bitch, you know… Not my daughter you BITCH! That one.”

"Mam are you saying my fashion style is similar to Bellatrix Lestrange from harry potter?"

"No, you are like her… So you can dress like her and get away with it. A mad, evil type of fashion."

I’m not sure if its a good thing or a bad thing… But I am very proud of the reference to HP from my Mam.
