Am I the only one who likes ALL the batboys and all the Archeron sisters? And I like them all together, even when they fight, because it makes it real and believable?

Why can't I love both Feyre and Nesta? They appeal to me in different ways? Why can't I identify with both Elain and Nesta? Why can't I be angry and resentful at times, short and moody, but also love love, bake, cook and play the peacemaker in my family? Why can't I be a leader and a follower?

Why can't I understand Rhys and his resentment toward Nesta, and sympathize with it? Love Cassian's generosity and gregariousness? Must I view Azriel as a crazed incel? Or can I enjoy his dry sense of humour, her secretiveness and his good manners?

What is this need to hate someone in order to uplift another? Are these the only two emotions people operate with--blind adoration or furious hate?
