God does not play dice with the universe; she plays an ineffable game of her own devising
Wish the finale had something absurdist like this tbh

I have a feeling that beneath the little halo on your noble head There lies a thought or two the devil might be interested to know You're like the finish of a novel that I'll finally have to take to bed You fascinate me so
You Fascinate Me So, Blossom Dearie
it was all just one horrible nightmare crowley had. then he woke up in the cottage, wrapped in aziraphale’s arms.
the bookshop is silent except for the soft music and the whisper of fabric as they move. the lights are low, just warm enough to blur the edges of the world. aziraphale sways a little closer, words half-whispered into the quiet space between them. crowley looks at him like he’s known the answer for centuries.
Chxrlotte – Us
The moment I heard David Tennant's heartbreaking love monologue in Around the World in 80 Days, my brain immediately decided this needed to become an AziraCrow edit

What Terry wrote in the good omens book btw
It's two months since they hurt my angel. With a story that makes no sense to me. Full of storylines that lead nowhere and are completely unsatisfying. This angel who left his home and tried his best to avoid a terrible eternity for his loved one and all humans, received nothing in turn but insults and shaming from everyone. And then the story ends with him gone because his universe is said to be unfixable. I'll never believe that. I don't want to give up. He never wanted to give up either. Why did they do this to him? He deserved retirement and peace and love and safety. And angels and demons deserved to be freed from pointless Heaven/Hell system too. It's a big universe! They don't even really exist in it. They could have gone off to do whatever, wherever. Nobody would mind if there was a village in South Downs with perpetually nicer weather than anywhere else.
the comfort never ends it seems- he has to suck it all up like a sponge.
Remember when Crowley was so ready to watch the world burn on Alpha Centauri as long as Aziraphale was safe? Yeah me too.
I wonder if the Finale divide is based on age at all.
I've always appreciated that the fandom is old and so the fans come in all age categories.

Now with added quick survey!
I'm curious how different parts of the fandom reacted to Good Omens Season 3. This survey is anonymous and just for fun. I'll post summaries
Please if you can spare 2min let me know your thoughts.
And they really thought they ate with this ending like it’s so crazy…
Y’all literally Job’d the fuck out of us.
I ended up adding some rather quick colour to the sketch I did yesterday- Spot the blushy blush and shiny wedding ring^^
Here’s the sketch if someone’s interested :)
They deserve a much better ending for the characters they've been bringing to life for eight years.
Thank you for trying to make it less mockish, but the author has already done it, even you couldn't fix it.
Fck you prime, fck you ng for doing this to Michael and David and Aziraphale and Crowley and each of us
They've been through some shit.
Absolutely. I don't even have anything to add. The story ended up becoming exactly what it had been mocking all these years. LMAO.
Book/s1: the apocalypse is averted by 4 kids+dog, a witch, her himbo bf, a witch hunter and his seer fiancé. A couple of ethereal/occult dumbasses give a hand while looking cute in the background. s3: the apocalypse is real and ineluctable, only supernatural beings are left in the end, discussing very sophisticated themes in the most ham fisted way possible. Everything is suddenly so serious but the writers don't have the skills to deal with that. YMMV.
Aziraphale in the finale: because I only want one thing. But this not what it's about anymore.
This line openly tells us what the finale ultimately means for Aziraphale. He died believing that everything he had ever wanted, everything he had protected, everything he had loved and everything he wanted - no longer mattered.
In fact, it never had.
I'm devastated.
