IMO, the Shenny kiss has more passion than the Shamy kiss, but not because of Sheldon.

As a Shenny shipper, I do agree that Sheldon was into kissing Amy on the train. The still shot doesn’t do it justice, but Jim Parsons did a great job of delivering on the Shamy kiss. Same with the Shenny kiss, Jim knows how to be sensual as well as kiss passionately.

The main difference has to do with the women. Amy can’t even bring herself to touch Sheldon back? Plus Mayim’s mouth is turned down and it looks like she is leaning back, away from Sheldon, not leaning back and pulling Sheldon towards her like Penny is doing. 

Penny was a little shocked at first when Sheldon planted one on her, but she then wrapped her arms around him and totally responded to the kiss. (I mean sure, Amy’s not going to straddle Sheldon in a public place…but she could have still touched him.)

That’s true. Amy didn’t really even seem like she enjoyed that kiss.
