The comparison is made because it is indeed very appalling that a small but loud selection of the survivors and their offspring are doing the thing that was done to them. What, do you think these people will feel any empathy if the Armenian or Rwandan or Bosnian genocides? If the comparison close to home doesn't convince them that genocide=bad, then I don't know what else to tell you about how cruel they are being.

NEW LORD OF THE RINGS FANFICTION COMING SOON: TAMED (Éomer x Reader)

The oldest of the three daughters, you find yourself in a race against time to find a husband. An arranged marriage to the Prince of Rohan seems to be the solution to everyone's problems. But around the Golden Hall, rumour has it you, the future Queen, might have fallen for your betrothed's cousin, Éomer.

CHAPTER 1

The story begins around a year before the LOTR films, then will follow the main storyline.

Includes Slow-ish burn and rivals-to-lovers. Arranged marriage, forbidden love, some angst.

Based mainly on the films; some things might not be canon-compliant, some others may be actual book lore.
