But, I’ll still list you why this is garbage: the first Marvel movie made by Marvel Studios was in the 90′s, that movie happened to be Blade. A black human/vampire hybrid hunter played by Wesley Snipes.
All across the Marvel movies have been/currently are actors and actresses such as: Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury, Don Cheadle as War Machine, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Djimon Hounsou as Korath, Batista as Drax, Benecio Del Toro as the Collector, Anthony Mackie as Falcon, Kenneth Choi as Jim Morita, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Algrim/Kurse, and Chadwick Boseman who will be Black Panther. Then you have your Marvel shows on Netflix, like Jessica Jones with Eka Darville as Malcolm and Mike Colter as Luke Cage.
Wow, would you look at that. All these Marvel live action properties with people who aren’t white in them. It’s almost as if this tweet was bullshit from the word “go”. Thanks for playing though, with that false narrative of yours. Look, in all seriousness, it’s not like Marvel is pushing some sort of race agenda where they’re picking someone to play a role based off their race. That’s not how things like this work. You dont like it, tough shit. Welcome to the real world. Actors are chosen based on their given performance and merit, not based on something as superficial as skin color. For example, the rebooted Fantastic Four movie, it bombed and it bombed hard. Did it have anything to do with the fact that they casted Michael B. Jordan as Jonathan Storm/Human Torch? No. It had everything to do with the movie being awful. Point is, to judge something based on the fact that white people, or any race, for that matter, are involved in something is just ridiculous. It’s shallow as fuck.
