“I just don’t know what else I can do!” cried Tam. She let herself sink into the warm soil beneath her and a tear escaped from her eyes. For over a week now, Tam had tried desperately to revive her favorite, and only, rose bush. By no means was she a professional gardener, but she sure as hell wasn’t an amateur. Tam nurtured her garden daily so how could her rose bush be decaying? What was she doing wrong?
Tam got back to her feet to tend to her other plants as she pondered how to revive the rose bush. Suddenly, a force like no other came from behind her and knocked her unconscious into the freshly watered soil.
Tam opened her eyes and found that she was not in the same place she had been knocked unconscious. She sat up and noticed she was in a bedroom, but it wasn’t hers. From the decoration, it seemed like Tam was in a mans bedroom. “Oh shit have I been kidnapped..again?!” Tam whispered to herself. As she slowly stood up, the sound of keys in a doorknob reached her ears. She froze instantly. She focused her mind, ready to blast anyone that discovered her. Then, Tam heard a distantly familiar voice asking if anyone was home.
Coop went about his business, putting away all of the groceries and wondering if Phoebe was at the newspaper or if she was working on her book somewhere. He finally decided it was time to change into some comfy clothes and opened his bedroom door to find a young woman. Laying on his floor.
“Ahem.” He cleared his throat, unsure of what to do next. “What exactly are you doing in my bedroom and who, might I ask, are you?”
“Uncle Coop!!” Tam exclaimed. She was so relieved to see him and ran towards him.
She stopped dead in her tracks as his questions registered in her brain. “Wait...Uncle Coop, it’s me, Tamora, duh.” she replied plainly. “As to how I got here, I’m not very sure.” Tam explained. “One minute, I was pruning my rose bush and then I woke up, here, in your room.”
