SECRET WARS II (1985-1986) has been added to the Marvel Comics Guide! It may not be the greatest event in Marvel history, but it certainly…. happened.

Happy 104th Birthday, Jack Kirby (August 28, 1917 - February 6, 1994)
Found an interview with him I actually haven’t already posted here on one of The King’s previous birthdays:
“My characters’ relationship to the reader is my own relationship. I love people in general and that’s reflected in my characters. My characters are very human and the next guy that recognizes himself in any character I draw, no matter how fantastic that character is, the next guy will always relate to him. Because despite the fact he’s incapable of doing these superhuman tasks, his motivations and the characters motivations are exactly alike. Human reactions. And the reader recognizes that. He recognizes that factor… Even in the villains.”
Like every year, I’ve lined up a ton of Jack Kirby art in my queue for today in celebration!
