(SNK spoilers) Genuine AOE believer or shipper who can't cope
I mean, it feels like everytime I read a theory for an alternative ending of SNK (third timeline theory for the anime, ANR,...), it HAS TO somehow involve Erehisu at all cost.
I have a lot of critisms of the ending myself (more in the "execution" that really anything else) but I don't feel the constant need to have the anime match my headcanons. Still, whenever I read an alternative ending theory for the anime, it goes "plotline, plotline, plotline, and oh btw Eren and Historia are in love, plotline, plotline...".
More and more, 2 years after, I really wonder what percentage of people subscribing to AOE theories are strictly disappointed in how SNK ended storywise and what part of them just can't come to term that their ship wasn't the canon one. It's perfectly ok to be a shipper and imagine all sorts of "what if" scenarios (I mean, pretty much everyone here enjoy fanfictions), but it feels like (often on Reddit) some people can't accepted the label "shipper" so they have to fit it in the canon story, one way or another ('cause somehow, if the ship is canon, you're not a shipper anymore but "a clairvoyant reader"?).
(sorry if I have difficulty to be clear, english is not my first language at all)
