Optimus' awful little guys aka have my first attempt at drawing the AoE Autobots. They were so unreadable half of this process was just squinting at screencaps.

There is something to be said how all of them are pricks on one way or another. Bumblebee pisses on a man and acts like a whiny teenager when he doesn't get what he wants. Drift acts like a know-it-all yet is barely better than Crosshair. Crosshair is an asshole who only cares about guns. Hound is an old grump who also only cares about blowing stuff up.

Like, I think it gives something that those who survived weren't the best or even decent Autobots. At the first hint of conflict they threaten to fall apart. Like survivorship bias none of them fit the picture of a survivor, they just happened to not get found.

The concept makes me want to sit down and rewrite Age of Extinction because Wow Did It Not Get Explored. I need to dunk them all in trauma and survivor's guilt.

One page comic inspired by "Miles's summer of 2010s" by Mashroomfields on AOE (sadly the site is still down). It needs a bit of context to really understand this.

I really, really liked it, especially this part in the first chapter. I put Miles's graffiti too because i just love a sunflower field.
