Team Matryoshka [CA EVENT]
Well, that had been slightly disorientating. Walking the streets one moment, finding herself on her rear in some dark and dank cavern the next⊠Was this their doing? Sheâd heard tales of the masters of this world twisting it to their whims before⊠But this was the first time sheâd experienced it. Though as if to answer her thoughts, glowing text bloomed into life on her arm.

Not her alone..? It wasnât until then that she noticed others had joined her in this subterranean cavern. A woman with exceedingly proper looking attire, and a knight like figure. Oh⊠Was that the one she had mistaken for her friend? How embarrassingâŠÂ
It was then she thought she felt something land on her head, followed by a brief fluttering. Priscilla angled her head upwards, and her face formed a wide smile instantly.
"Airy! Hoy! How pleasant to see thee, at least. I think we have found ourselves involved in an incidentâŠ" With that the crossbreed edged back slightly, before rising to her feet and full height. She gripped the wooden replica of her pride and joy nervously.
"And hoy to thee, also⊠I am not sure if we have met, but mine name is Priscilla. And I would very much like to make it out of this place post haste. I am not exactly sure what is happening, but if this is any indication- ohâŠ"
She was gesturing to the writing on her arm, but to her surprise it had already formed into some kind of swaying compass.Â

An empty birdâs nest wasnât the most comfortable of beds that Airy had taken during her stay, but it was warmer than the others. For that point, she had chosen it as her spot to rest for the moment. She had nodded off for two, maybe three minutes, before she felt the dried grass beneath her fingers slide away and get replaced with cold stone.
Her wings reacted before she did, flapping madly in order to get away from the ground. Airy launched herself up as she as she could go, a dark ceiling greeting her near the end of her flight-limit. Stone surrounded her on all sides and the only light came from the torches secured on the walls. Her heartbeat eased for the moment, only to rise again once she noticed the thing on her wrist. There was writing, but Airy barely read it.
What IS this? she thought, trying to claw at the marking just beneath her glove. It was a wasted effort. Great. Iâm somewhere else now. I have to figure out WHERE I am now and NOW to get out. At least this place isnât as cold as Frostcoffin Castle.
Giving up, Airy directed her attention to the words on her tiny wrist. She made them out before they blinked out completely and checked out her surroundings. High in the air, she realized she wasnât alone. Once her eyes finally adjusted, she landed upon the head of the sole figure that was actually familiar to her. She knew this girl.
"Priscilla?" she asked, upside-down as she hung over the girlâs white bangs. "Youâre here with me, too?" The pixie followed her gaze until she noticed the two other individuals in the room.
The young woman with dark skin and pinkish hair done in curls made her quirk an eyebrow. She didnât look frightened at all, despite their situation. But in complete contrast to her was a man (at least, she assumed it to be a man) in heavy, intimidating armor. Airy nearly fell off Priscillaâs scalp until she noticed the flowing cape and the difference in height.

Rei dropped to the floor on one knee, propped up by her hand. It was difficult to see at all at first, but she was patient enough for her eyes to adjust to the comparatively powerful darkness. It appeared that sheâd fallen into a hall of some kind of dungeon. Why⊠she had no idea.
She stood and glanced around at her apparent companions with a level gaze. She could see an armored person and a very tall woman, which raised her eyebrows. At least by giving more attention to that womanâs face, she spotted the tiny figure hanging down into her eyes. Three others, then. And according to her wrist, her life was âlinkedâ at least to theirs.
"I am Rei Hououmaru," she said, certain she hadnât met any of these three. Thoughtfully and protectively, she crossed her arms. Being put here with strangers wasnât the most reassuring start. She glanced back at her wrist in case further instructions came, and found an arrow pointing to the westâthe way forward into the shadows, rather than the way back into the shadows. Also comforting.
"Shall we get moving?" she asked, removing her glasses and tucking them away. There wasnât any glaring light to protect her eyes from down here. "Thereâs nothing else to do but ignore the directions and wait."

While Golbez could not see his own marking underneath his armour, it did not take a genius to realise that he too most likely had one branded on his arm.
The man ignored the introductions for now and moved around, looking for any sort of unique architecture and soaking up what he saw as he eyes adjusted to the darkness. Stone, rock, did he hear running water? Even at his height of close to 9' it was impossible to reach the top of the walls - escape was impossible but through any real exists, if they existed at all.
As the others got more acquainted he strode towards the nearest corridor and tried to see further down it - an action that proved near impossible with the dim lighting. As Rei suggested moving on the man gave and agreeing nod and pulled his cloak over his arms.
"Indeed. Let us hope we can find food and water in this cavern, lest I fear we may never find our way out before the inevitable happens... and a light source as well; I do not wish to find out if anything lurks in this strange place while close to death; and I am sure you all are the same. He paused for a second before continuing; "My name is Golbez. It seems we are stuck together for now; come - we should not dawdle."
