IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
ALL CHARACTERS ON THIS BLOG ARE MOVING. I WILL FOLLOW ON THE NEW PLATFORM.
ooc: FURTHERMORE if you would like my new URL when it is complete, then please, ask for it. This blog will be shut down by the end of today, in theory. It will not be deleted, but it will be used as an archive.
ooc: I just completely wiped 90% of the people I follow because I just don’t interact with them. This blog may be changing very soon as I may merge it with another I have, but have every muse here listed as secondary muses; ones that have to be requested to be used simply because I am rarely here and my muses are not popular ones. [*Stares at Raiden*] But I still want them.
I’m also in the process of merging various blogs due to having too many. I have 5 in total at the moment but I have at least 25 muses across them.
So keep an eye out for updates.
Hiatus:
ooc: I think I’m going to put this blog on HIATUS for a bit. I have four other blogs I’m trying to juggle and I just have none of my muses here. I’ll be back. I just don’t know when. You can find me mainly here: enduringthisexile
For aartyom
I have no idea…
♥– Kat stroked Violet’s hair absentmindedly, listening to the man with a few nods of her head. “I see. So you’re that good?” She tilted her head a bit with a small smile.
“How long should it take to get there?” The psychic’s thoughts glimmered over her car; hoping that nothing had already happened to it.
The male turned his head to quip his eyes rows almost cockily before turning back to the road; they certainly had been on the move for a long while...
“I’d say another hour or so; the longest bit will be queuing to get through the checkpoint.”
Indie Nero RP Blog from DMC4. Multi-Universe Multi-Ship
I’ve moved Nero to his own blog; so go follow him here! Blog is still under construction but all threads with Nero will be transferred there :)
Ooc: Sorry I haven't been online: been slowly making Nero his own blog.
STARTER CALL
Like for a strter, message me if you wnt one with a speciffic character.
Her name was Cy. A rather odd decision for a parent to name their child using only two letters, but somehow it was distinctly feminine and unique at the same time.
“I am Thranduil. It is unfortunate indeed that your guide left you defenseless; he proves to be a terrible guide indeed.”
More often than not, he left out who he really was when meeting strangers. He suspected that such knowledge would make others treat him differently or, in some cases, use him against his father. Maintaining a sense of anonymity was important. While she seemed nice, he knew that looks could be deceiving.
Another horn blast sounded, this time closer. He really needed to leave, but the way that she glanced around her made him pause. She didn’t know the forest well enough, and there were some places where the Elven Path was broken by roots that jutted up from the ground. It was possible for her to lose her way again, and he might not be there to save her from some other obscure fate.
“Though you can come with me for the time being. I can show you a way out, but only after I know why they need me.”
Cy gently intertwined her fingers together in front of her, the reins to her mare loosely looped around her wrist. She knew that she would not run, she was a faithful being and thus her grip needn’t have been tight.
What an eloquent name; strong, noble. Her thoughts remained locked inside her mind, as did much of everything. As for her guide, he evidently was not the man she thought he was and thus her somewhat irritated, disapproving expression explained as such.
The horn caused her to jump, it startling her once more. It seemed to be of relevance to the male and she instantly felt a burden for holding him back but the offer and concern that followed was more than appreciated. She might’ve ran out of room on her parchment but the smile and sincerity of the thank you in her eyes hopefully conveyed her thankfulness to the other for his time and aid.
Slow, careful steps kept him by the younger male’s side, or just a couple of steps behind, as Vergil cautiously followed him down the slope. He was putting almost all his weight on the sheathed sword, using it to sustain himself and to keep his balance on the dangerously slippery ground, but after all he did not have so many difficulties: his whole body ached with each step, sure, but he had had much worse in the past. Some pain and a couple of broken bones were nothing to make him worry. At first he had cursed himself for opening a rift on top of a hill, but now he was glad he had arrived there: the young boy could help him, he couldn’t do much by himself - even if he hated to admit it.
“If I fall, I will not involve you”, he chuckled. He wouldn’t fall, he was steady on his own legs provided that they walked slowly; but he found it amusing that the other was somehow worrying about his well-being, masking it behind concern about himself. In another situation all those remarks would have bothered him deeply, but this time he didn’t really mind - maybe because Nero had been quite kind to him so far, or maybe because he felt sort of a similarity with the boy. He wouldn’t know how to define it better, though; for sure, the other wasn’t completely human.
But he did not seem to be a danger, this was the most important thing to Vergil. Especially because he was too tired to deal with another fight. Hopefully he would be able to find out more about this boy, given how they were going to spend some more hours together. It was simple curiosity that pushed him to inquire, nothing else. For a moment he was almost afraid Nero wouldn’t reply to his weird question, but in the end he was satisfied… partially. Demons were present in that city, which wasn’t much of a positive thing for him.
Vergil ruled over some demons, but not all of them obeyed to him: there were some, the most reckless and rebellious ones, who did not recognize his authority and didn’t refrain from attacking him when they felt like doing so. That’s why he had been involved in a fight, and that’s why he was asking about the presence of demons in Fortuna. But he couldn’t say this to the other, because it sounded like Nero was one of those who fought demons.
“I am asking because there are many of those creatures in the city I come from. Limbo City… It is quite far from here, maybe you have never heard of it. Those things are the ones who forced me to… run away through a hole in the sky, as you said. I was hoping not to have to meet them here, too”. He wasn’t exactly lying: he had simply hidden some information and changed a couple of details, but it wasn’t a lie. “What happened to your arm?”, he asked, just to change the subject of the conversation.
Nero enjoyed the wander up the hill, being a lone wolf and enjoying his own company, but heading back down always put an uncomfortable pressure on his ankles and the constant re-balancing to try and not fall onto his face was irritating to say the least. And if he fell on his face now, he had an audience to laugh as he scraped his nose in the dirt.
The rumbling suddenly heard overhead was daunting and not the best of omens. He was hoping the both of them got back to his apartment before the heavens opened up and the rain poured down. If they weren’t at least in the city by that point then it would make the ground twice as slippery and treacherous than it already was. His thoughts often turned to a more pessimistic outlook, and thus his thought process was often criticized.
“Thats nice of ya’, Verge; only got my jacket dry-cleaned yesterday.” He uttered, smirking silently to himself. The rumbles continued overhead, his eyes glancing upwards to take in how thick the clouds were becoming at an almost alarming rate. He tatted in disgust, ruffling his hair; “...you better get ya’ hobble on, I don’t wanna get my hair wet.” Regardless of his exterior, the other was more concerned about the other male getting back in one piece, and preferably dry but the outlook was about as positive as Nero was.
He coughed, slowing himself so he could totter beside the other as the decline grew somewhat steeper for the last leg of the hill before it flattered at the entrance to the city; there should the other need a shoulder to grab in case of falling, though he was doubting it would happen. The other didn’t seem to o dissimilar to himself in ways; proud, independent. But just in case, he was there.
Nero grunted as his sling strap began to rub against his neck, adjusting it with a short huff. “Limbo, eh? Nah, never heard of it, then again, I haven’t been off this island in forever.” What a name, for a city. He chuckled inwardly; “They don’t raise their head too often here, to be honest, and the Knights do a pretty good job of keeping them away, as do I. But, like it said, incidents have been increasing lately. So it wouldn’t surprise me if they broke into the city sooner rather than later.”
Sensing the other wanted to drop that topic of conversation, Nero listened to his question and attempted to think of a flawless lie to cover himself with. He’d used anything from broken bones to surfacing birth defects, so far and he couldn’t see why he couldn’t use something like that, now. The newfound male would be none the wiser and he’d just have to be careful when he took it off later for a shower...
“Got into a fight a few weeks back, broke my arm, nothing huge.” Nero lied, giving a nonchalant shrug which was soon accompanied by a groan as the rain began to gradually fall from the heavens, one spot at a time. He held a portion of his jacket over his own and this... Vergil’s head to try and keep the rain off. “Don’t want you catching a cold, too; the last thing I want is your snot on my couch.”
They were thankfully now only a few steps away from the city limits, feet transferring from muddied tracks to beautifully paved pathways and neatly kept flower beds. They were now only minutes from his apartment, but the clouds above seemed intent on giving them a good soaking before they reached the door; an irritant, if nothing else.
Ooc: Doing my single reply now, then I'm gonna move Nero to his own blog, I think.
ooc: I’m contemplating giving Nero his own blog...
