I think I’m finally going to put Alec on a long overdue indefinite hiatus. I love Alec, I love you guys, but I simply can’t keep dragging him out like this ( this is pretty much a still relevant summary of what I’ve been feeling ).

Short story shorter: it turns out I am going home for the holidays. Cool beans, Lea. Good on you, but what does this mean? Well, friend, lemme tell ya. I’m one of those weird ‘murican folks, but I’m going to school off yonder across the Atlantic; it wasn’t a piddly case of driving four hours like during undergrad.
It means I’m going to be totally absent Monday the 19th because of flying, and after then I can’t make any promises activity-wise. You’ll always be able to reach me through IM or Skype or what have you ( minus flying days ), and I’ll try to maintain at least a queue, but I’m probably going to be as slow as a turtle overall. I’m flying back to school on January 4th, so I’ll be completely gone then ( and then exams and turning in final assessments ).

I adore your Alec and always will. We've rped before, but I'm a potato and have a hard time talking to you about possible new plots or roleplays. But just wanted you to know that I watch from afar. lol

Massive doors were just closed right before them, leaving that rather unusual duo all alone in the confining room. Deathlike scilence takes over the shadowy place as they finally seem to start to get used either to the few lights… Or to each other; Golden irises like translucid amber cast sight to the other figure right across the room. There’s nothing but intense curiosity on them as they travel up and down, scaning his actions minuciously, yet no words are pronounced, maybe as if a first iniciative was expected. That boy seems somewhat harmless, yet the vampire wouldn’t be here if he was entirely useless; Well, since his glaring proved to be useless, there’s no option left but start talking, like a normal human being;
“ … So — this is what a Shadowhunter would look like, huh?” He softly breaks silence as allows a shadow of a grim grows on his lips.

The settling of the doors effectively signal the reality of this arrangement, of the agreement between the Camarilla and the Clave, and he finds this room to be stifling. As if the air simply stalled, as if the walls loom high above them and yet cave in, as if weighted by the sheer responsibility of this assignment, and he rolls his shoulders as if he can simply shake off a bit of the load. But it does very little, simply scratching fabric along his skin, and tethers him further to the gravity of the assignment. Air hisses from his nose in a sigh as a voice tugs at his attention, pulls it to the other he shares the boat with. He spies him through unruly bangs as he speaks, as if they can construct a barrier between this new face and him, at least until he can figure him out ( and they hide a bit the brows furrowing in confusion, but not necessarily the eyes narrowing ). “What else would a Shadowhunter look like? What were you expecting?”
