I want a show about queer characters who don’t have to find “self-love” or have to spend majority of the series in a fucking closet. With stranger things the closet is inevitable but I’m tired of the same story. Even in shows that are set in today it seems like it’s the same old “I have to stay closeted” stuff and I’m sick of it. Like our only story shouldn’t be coming out and learning to be fine on our own, we deserve cute little romance, we deserve to see two out queer characters go from enemies to lovers, we deserve so much more than what we get. It isn’t fair.
