Made a Yule log cake with my in-laws! We actually did a lot of baking, but this was our biggest endeavor of the visit. I've been wanting to try making one for a few years, and I'm glad we went for it. It was stressful but not actually that difficult, so maybe I'll make it next year for solstice!

I'd like to put candles in it next year so we can "burn" it!

Happy Eevee Day! To celebrate, we got all my eevee plushies together for a tea party, including the four new Pokemon Fit/Sitting Cutie plushies I recently got in Japan. (I have a "family" of 10 eevee/eeveelution plushies, but I'm also on a quest to collect all 151 of the gen 1 Sitting Cuties.) I also got to use the dishes I bought at the Pokemon Cafe in Tokyo!

I have lots of pictures from the Pokemon Cafe as well as other souvenirs I bought in Japan. It's been a while since my trip, but I might still make a post about those in the future!

Came home from vacation in Japan last week, and picked up a souvenir for the plushies!

Our package came with one less Pikachu and one extra Eevee! Maybe they knew what kind of household we were headed to. The cookies are SO cute, and pretty tasty too!

Having a D&D sleepover with my friends, playing the Rime of the Frostmaiden campaign! Naturally, I brought some ice type buddies to play in the snow with me. Glaceon and Vulpix are having fun rolling my tiny dice!

Went down to the National Gallery of Art and the sculpture garden on the National Mall with @candlechaiphotography. We really struggled with lighting for this photoshoot, but we still managed to get a few good shots. Dress is Miss Point's Dusk Best.

Over new years our favourite DC cafe, Little Red Fox, closed down pretty much out of the blue :( We have a big fox plushie family so fox-themed locales were special places! Some cute photos to remember it by:

It was the best cafe - I never bothered to take photos of the indoors, it was immensely popular so I assumed it would always be around. Apparently, the owners lived in California and were having health issues so it just wasnt feasible to run it anymore. Tragic but also the fate of most local joints.
