Speed Buggy, Summer Style
Did a redraw of this classic Scooby Doo show.
The 13 ghosts of scooby doo is my personal favourite next to mystery incorporated.
Currently obsessed with it after all these years. I forgot how much I loved this show. Only 13 episodes long from the year 1985, with the elusive red shirt shaggy, contained scrappy doo and I didn’t hate him, somehow lives rent free in my mind.
Honestly thinking about how fun it would be in the artstyle of mystery incorporated.

Shoutout to this panel from the Laff-a-Lympics issue "Trouble at the Track Meet" where the spacing of the dialogue balloons makes it seem like Shaggy uses both he/him and they/them pronouns.
He/They Shaggy real in Laff-a-Lympics and is further proof why it is the best Scooby-related piece of media.

Speaking of the 60s action cartoons, comparing how fights scenes were done in 1967 vs 1980 has been a fun part of figuring out how to write my Impossibles/Drak Pack crossover.
For a lot of the Drak Pack's powers, they don't necessarily have to touch anyone to make it work - there's a reason Howler has "big bad wolf" powers instead of the usual clawing/biting - so there's a lot more playing around with the environment or the situation itself to make it work.
Meanwhile, while they certainly get to show off their powers, the Impossibles are allowed to punch their villains in the face and call it a day. Guess that's why they only need seven minutes to save the day, I suppose.
