Money & Whiskey
Edward found the best things came with time. Upon his return back to the city of blood, and after taking care of business, the wolf found himself stepping through the doors of Desire’s and to his particular table. He sat back into the plush leather booth, glancing over his shoulder when he heard a voice. A grin curled at the corners of his mouth. “To what do I owe the pleasure?” His British accent thick.
Floyd wasn’t sure why he was being stuffed bills when he wasn’t a dancer, but he wasn’t questioning it, he simply did as he was told, walking over to the man that had been pointed out and sliding in to the seat beside him and put a drink down at the table for him.
“British too? Wasn’t expecting that.” he replied with a small laugh “The guy at the bar paid me to bring you a drink.” He explained and leaned over a little “Normally I’d say he mistook me for a bartender, but in this place, I can’t help but wonder if there’s something more sinister going on or if this is some attempt at seduction and I’ve unwittingly become a pawn.”
