The human blinked, the sight of her fangs awaking a sense of uneasiness in him. “Jesus, Seph…is that..is that all you remember?“ he couldn’t help himself, really, he just wanted to know all the details. Then, perhaps they could do something about it. “I’ll call Elijah..we need to hunt whoever did this.”

Sephy could feel the unease in Daniel as he saw her fangs, sighing she closed her mouth. “I dont remember anything. I dont even remember anyone who was in the bar that night. I dont want you to call Elijah, I dont want you two to get involved and end up getting hurt because of me.”

“I’m gonna go with just about..” Meilani crawled back into bed, pulling the covers back over her face. “The place is fine, Sephy. It would take a lot more than us two to burn the place down.”

As Meilani crawled back in bed, Sephy shifted to lay back down, a yawn escaping her lips. “I suppose that is true.”

“I like that place too obviously I own it.” The blonde sighed and closed her eyes. “It wasn’t intentional. Im not even sure how I got here.”

Daniel made no effort to reach for the bottle again, more concerned about the matter at hand than anything else. “I see that. You look plenty alive to me.” he frowned, the grip on his lip tightening, “Who did this to you, Seph? Do you know?”

As Daniel said that she looked alive to him, she opened her mouth her fangs extended. “I am far from alive. And I dont know. I have no idea. I just woke up in the alley beside work...”

“The details of that night are still a mystery to me as well but I’m not mad about it.” The blonde wiggled her eyebrows before laughing. “How did I get home? Or am I at your place?”

Sephy groaned and dropped her arm back over her face as Daniel spoke. “How wild was it? I didnt try to sleep with anyone did I? Wait... I didnt...” She sat up quickly, her eyes widening slightly. “I didnt hurt anyone did I?”

When Cade arrived at Hoodoo, he admittedly felt a little lost. He spent a few months trying to regain his footing and spent a lot of time in the White Horse Pub. It felt like home. After hours spent in the pub, the owner had asked if he would like to be paid to be there. Getting a job as a bartender was something Cade had never dreamed of. However, he liked it a lot. And he was good at it. Standing behind the bar, he was rearranging bottles for the night when he heard her voice. He laughed turning to face her. “Shit, you mean I’m going to have to obey your bossiness now?”

Sephy rolled her eyes at Cade’s words as she walked farther into the bar. She knew that he meant them in a teasing way, so she didnt take them offensively. Reaching the bar, she hopped up on a stool and threw the towel that was resting there at his back. “Yes, that is exactly what that means. And if my memory serves me right Mr Bertinelli, you like my bossiness.”

He looked slightly confused as she left her sentence hanging but he did not pry. There were different levels of trust, and with what little they knew of each other in the short period of time, it was only natural she avoided saying what she didn’t want to. “That’s fair.” he smiled. “Other than that, great. Mia almost burnt down our store but, you know, could happen any time I guess.” he added, chuckling.

Sephy was relieved when he didnt pry, she had been lucky in that department with her friends for the most part. Hearing his words, her eyebrows shot up into her hairline. “How did Mia almost burn down the store? Is she okay?”

As soon as Sephy gave her the okay, Meilani began showing the blonde her tattoos. “You’re gonna see a lot of flowers, just saying.” She began by lifting up the side of her shirt to display the piece on her rib cage covering the majority of her left side. “All the little ones are like..” the girl pointed out those on her arms and feet before turning around and lifting her shirt off to display the couple on her back. “Then I’ve got this,” Meilani slipped her pants down just enough to showcase her ink covered hip wrapping around back. She jumped back into her jeans explaining, “I’ve also got a couple like, on my ass. Like it wraps all the way around one side, then I just have another small one on the other side but you get the idea.” The brunette shrugged, hoping it maybe helped to give Sephy ideas if anything. “So you figure something out?”

Sephy studied each of Meilani’s tattoos in turn, all the art work was fantastic but some of the pieces had to hurt and take hours, she was in awe. “Those are... wow. I dont think I could sit still that long. Can vampires even get tattoos?” She finally mused softly, how had she not thought of that sooner. “Um yeah, I think so. Its very basic white girl but I love it so I dont care what anyone else thinks.” She turned her phone so Meilani could see the tattoo

“I’ve been known to have my moments.” Sephy laughed, a smile coming to her lips easily at the other woman’s words. “It all looks so good if I am completely honest, its hard to pick just one. I’m thinking about buying a dozen and taking them to my staff. What would you recommend?”
