I'm the first to call him out on being pathetic and an idiot when it happens, but Alastor's patience actually is under-appropriated. I thought he'd react much worse to

1. being badly injured, in constant pain, and seeing his powers strongly weakened,

2. the hotel squad merely using him to resolve shit until he doesn't anymore - without anyone asking if he is okay after the battle,

3. being constantly humiliated in all sorts of ways,

4. getting betitled by Lucifer, the most useless person in all of hell, who just took over what he brought into shape,

5. Angel not batting an eye when he quits,

6. Charlie only worrying about him being captured (despite not knowing details) as an afterthought of him not being useful anymore (before brushing it off again alltogether),

7. losing the rest of his reputation.

Alastor should be the one losing his marbles tbh, yet he does not at all. It shows how little he expects from the world. - Probably used to it from life too. And he is proven right once more. It's heartbreaking.

i wonder if vox's ability to unite people and have them rally around a central cause will come back later to genuinely benefit the hotel and/or hell as part of his arc. like, thematically we're focusing a lot on reversals and atonement wrt redemption in a way that makes me think a lot of people's actions and behaviors are going to come back around in an opposite way later on, and it'd be really cool to see if that goes for vox too—without necessarily being redeemed, it would be something redemptive for vox to do that i think would still be very true to his character

To everyone how says Alastor and Vox were similar in the way they claimed the ladder, Alastor put in the effort of winning over racist produces and criticism. He killed cause he liked killing and as an emotional release. He didn't kill people related to his occupation.

Vox on the other hand killed anyone who was above him. Anyone who was in a position he wanted, he killed.

Viv did an interview that released today, and here is some small things she revealed about season 3:

The colors representing season 3 will be purple and green.

Vox will stay an important character until the end.

We will get some of Zestial’s backstory.

Angel Dust will be a be a big focus in season 3, specifically his relationship with Husk.

Lilith will have a presence next season (which was already presumed).

The wait will be similar to the hiatus between seasons 1 and 2 😔. On the bright side, the wait between seasons 3 & 4 will most likely be shorter.

Family will also play a huge role, specifically in regards to the Morningstars and Angel’s family.

On that note, it was also hinted that Henroin, Molly and Arackniss would be introduced next season.

Okay listen… I genuinely did NOT expect Baxter and Niffty’s ship to be written this well and be this adorable. They instantly became my third favorite ship in the whole universe. I love them so much… like, just LOOK at them. HOW can two characters be THIS cute together??

The way they are with each other is so cute! I love how supportive they are with each other’s interests and they’re so soft on each other. Baxter’s looks to Niffty, Niffty asking him if he’s okay.

They match each other’s freak. And this is the kind of person Niffty needs tbh- someone who doesn’t force her to change. It’s probably part of why she has such a close bond to Alastor, he lets her do her thing (although in alastor’s case it may be out of more amusement).

If the theory that Niffty was lobotomized and/or had an abusive husband ends up being true, I like the idea of her having a relationship with Baxter where she can just be herself. He doesn’t look down on her (which is also cool for Baxter’s character because we see in his introduction that he does seem to hold himself above others in terms of his intelligence, yet he never treats Niffty stupid.)

Also I fucking love their color pallets together.
