Back in 2011 a buddy introduced me to his ‘hangover cure.’ It was a tablet he dissolved in water. But unlike other powder-based beverages, it wasn’t chalky or grainy, and tasted great. His explanation: ‘it’s called Nuun - just electrolytes, without all the sugar.’ It changed my game, because the bottled stuff from the market would make my energy spike and this didn’t. Soon after, I got my other friends and colleagues involved. . Since then Nuun has become a part of my daily training regiment and travel essentials. Therefore, I am incredibly honored to be selected as a Nuun Ambassador! 🙏🏾 . Didn’t do much in Vienna outside of run, eat, and look at funky buildings. . In 1977 Vienna’s mayor invited Friedensreich Hundertwasser to design and build a residential complex that would standout from the rest. Hundertwasser was against the idea that buildings should be built with straight lines or conform to societal norms. Therefore he designed a structure that would encompass the “Forestation of the City” and be inhabited by humans and plants with a mix of mediums. Also as the construction would require the removal of the area’s existing greenery, he planned for everything to be restored on the building’s roof. . Over the last few years marathon week has been my favorite time of year in NYC. The streets exude a feeling of electricity from runners and spectators, alike. Everything from hype at the expo, to all of the pre-race events, to even the anxiousness to perform/catch your runner on the course. My week was filled with a ton of love from my @adidasRunners fam. The crew organized global meets; running panels; workshops focusing on nutrition, meditation, art-therapy, and strength; a pre-race coffee meet; and post-race recovery. It was a week of inspiration, and I am incredibly grateful to have been a part of it.

adidasRunners has changed the way I approach training and I encourage everyone to give us a shot. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. You don’t have to be a runner, or training for a race - we’re out here to build a strong community of healthy people.
