My favorite part of Obsession is that you always wonder when actual Nikki is bleeding through.

Wish!Nikki cooks the cat because she doesn’t understand the difference between loving something and consuming something. But actual Nikki could’ve cooked the cat as a way to punish Bear for what he’s done to her, cloaked in a domestic gesture of love.

Wish!Nikki kills Sarah out of jealousy, to further bind Bear to her by implicating them both in the same crime. But what if actual Nikki thought that killing Sarah would save her from the same fate as her.
