One of the simplest desus headcannons that I have is that when Daryl and Jesus start dating, Daryl begins to keep a hair tie on his wrist so that if Jesus ever wants to put his hair up, but doesn’t have a tie, Daryl can give him the spare.

I know that Greg Nicotero has shut down the Desus deal ( but bro they did the same with Richonne??) but then the universe leads me to pose some questions and wonder WHY:

they showed Jesus question why Daryl didn’t leave him behind.

they paralleled their first meeting to Richonne’s first meeting.

not only Jesus came out, but brought out the fact that he finds it hard to get closer to anyone then opening up to Daryl later.

Abraham asked Daryl about settling down in the next episode Jesus appeared in.

they showed them staring at each other, a little bit more than needed.

they chose Jesus to be the one saving Daryl from the saviors’ compound.

they showed Jesus displaying utter shock and concern when Daryl killed fat Joey, thus the infamous “Daryl, Daryl!” moment.

they showed them in the same frame along with Richonne, like A LOT /power couple style/.

they showed Jesus opening up to Daryl and Daryl reassuring him.
