i hope people are aware that the dominant strategy in competitive magic the gathering right now is putting vivi from final fantasy 9 in a witch's cauldron to extract his powers
watch any tournament footage and you will see him being boiled in the corner, often on both sides of the table

The Blue Spirit putting out firebending with a bucket of water is the absolute funniest thing ever done in avatar combat. It just is.
oh my god @murple
For those of you who haven’t played Tactics Advance before, the world map is completely different from anything in almost any other Final Fantasy game out there. Whenever Marche unlocks a new location, you get to figure out where to put it on the map.
There’s no “right” way to arrange everything, but you can get the occasional reward if you put a certain town in a certain place. I’m going to follow AstroBlue’s Sengoku Fukkatsu guide.
Sprohm - 14 Lutia - 8 Nubs - 9 Eluut - 6 Ulei - 5 Cadoan - 15 Aisen - 18 Roda - 4 Koring - 10 Salika - 22 Nargai - 13 (Red Boots) Baguba - 16 Dorsa - 7 (Materite) Kudik - 24 Jeraw - 2 (Excalibur) Muscadet - 21 Uladon - 1 (Scarab) Gotor - 12 Ahli - 3 (Genji Armlets) Delia - 17 (Princess Guard) Ozmon - 23 (Gastra Bow) Materi - 20 (Red Boots) Tubola - 19 (Genji Helm & Genji Shield) Helj - 26 Deti - 11 (Materia Blade) Siena - 25 (Estreledge)
I can’t imagine any playthrough in which I won’t be needing all the Genji gear, so I’m going to follow these numbers. Slow payoff, but ultimately worth it, I’m guessing.
This map system is designed to be something players can experiment with for replayability’s sake. There really is no “canon” map for Tactics Advance Ivalice, and that’s important to keep in mind while progressing through the game.
Rice Krispies smartest decision is by far their Treat. Turning their cereal into a strange brick relies on the natural fact that all children are hopelessly dependent upon the ingot.
