george washington: the coach. strict but good-natured, has the respect of the entire league
alexander hamilton: excels in pretty much any event, but prefers to do parli because he considers it the pinnacle of critical thinking and logical reasoning. he's also the parli captain and likes to give pep talks to the team while standing up on a table
thomas jefferson: he's the PF captain and he's partners with madison. his main tactic during cross-ex is to ask really strange questions in the last few seconds just to throw his opponent off.
james madison: you wouldn't think it, but his refutations are actually vicious. PF has been his main event for a while, but one time he partnered up with hamilton and jay at a parli tournament. he still hasn't fully recovered
john laurens: the LD captain. literally joined LD because he hero-worships abraham lincoln. he uses hobbes ethics and deontology frameworks a lot
marquis de lafayette: policy captain. no one expected the french guy to be able to spread so well, damn.
hercules mulligan: older than the rest of the squad because he got started late, but is literally the coolest dude ever. he designed all of the club shirts and hoodies. does policy with lafayette and kills on k speeches. he's so good at predicting the cases that other teams will make that his nickname is "the spy"
john adams: that one judge who gives out really low speaks to everyone
john jay: used to be the parli captain, but gave up his position to alex. nowadays he mostly just does PF with stephen von rensselaer
peggy schuyler: on a parli team with her sisters. she's a first speaker. her speeches are really icy but super argumentative.
angelica schuyler: the second speaker. her roadmapping and signposting is on point omg. she heckles A LOT.
eliza schuyler: the 3rd speaker. is mostly soft spoken and calm, but can absolutely evoke emotions from the judge if she needs to. she likes to weigh debates on virtue ethics.
maria reynolds: a speech kid at heart. she does congress sometimes too though. she waxes very poetic, and has made a few presiding officers cry.
