Aghh I just want to get married
I don’t even care about a stupid wedding. I’ll elope. I’m 100% sure he’s the one I want to be with. And yeah, it’s not like waiting to get married keeps us from being together. But goddamn it, I’ve been socialized to need marriage for validation of my love, so it really bothers me that I can love someone so much and my relationship is considered inferior to married couples.
And I feel like if I wait a long time, marriage won’t feel special because I already feel like we are pretty much married.
