You met the version of me I did not want you to meet
The girl who cried herself to sleep every night and begged God to save her from herself
The girl who lived in her own bubble of innocence and saw the good in others when there was no good to be found
The girl who would shut out the noise with the sound of her own thoughts
Who lived in a world outside herself because she did not want to face reality
The girl who could not find herself even whilst looking at her own reflection
Who was so broken she could no longer live….

What advice would you give sisters who are wanting to get married but find it hard and are getting up in age and those around them have already started families… بارك الله فيك
Don’t settle just because you are getting older and also don’t compare yourself with others. Just because they are at a different stage than you does not mean you are left behind, its just not your time yet. I know its hard when you are the late bloomer (trust me I was in your shoes and got married older). But remember there is also blessing in being single ie self development, having more time for yourself, and so much more. Marriage is only a small aspect of life, its not the whole point. Your end goal is Jannah, and everything you do should be to help you reach it, that includes the spouse you choose etc
how was your Ramadan ?
It was one of the better Ramadans I’ve had since getting married because the Ramadan’s prior I was pregnant or nursing etc. Alhamdulillah overall it was good.
How is my daughter almost 2 🥲 time flies may Allah make her amongst the righteous

Memorize Surat Al Baqarah with proper tajweed and recite it daily and ponder on it’s meaning. It will heal and mend you in ways you could not fathom.

The amount of people who resonate with this post. I’m sure we have certain instances that came to mind when reading it…
This was advice given to me to help me accept my qadr, and when you view everything this way you find peace because no matter what everything happens for a reason. Alhamdulillah
I still believe I will get my happily ever after one day…
