Its been a while since I was posting regularly and I see new people interested in Filianism so I suppose I ought to introduce myself!

Hi! I'm Madria Ursula, the priestess who serves the third generation of filianists! I've been a member of this religion for around 10 years now and have spent all of that time researching and learning as much as I could in order to understand my religion as well as possible. I don't spend as much time on here as I used to (life tends to get in the way) but I try to check in regularly! Everyone is more than welcome to send me messages about any questions they might have about Filianism's thealogy, metaphysics, and tradition. I'm always happy to answer anything I can and/or point yall in the right direction!

I have plans to make a few posts on here to help people understand what it is myself and my sisters believe, and what Filianism is and is not.

One thing I'd like to note here first and foremost is that Filianism is actually a closed religion! In order to be a Filianist you must be part of the community my sisters and I share and show genuine conviction to our beliefs during the conversion process. If you are interested in joining our sisterhood you may send me a message and we can discuss where you are in your current relationship with God and if our sisterhood will be a good fit!

However, they are working with an individual known to have been the source of schism and crisis in previous sisterhoods (specifically the Burtonport House). This individual has had allegations of abuse levied against her, and it is our belief that this is an attempt to create a high-control group.

Because of the strange, and sometimes shared, nature of identities in Aristasia, there is a lot of vagueness and winky little nods when discussing who is who. But in this particular case, maybe it is best to come right out and say it. Mаrу Gսillermіո appears to be actively involved in the Chаpel of Oսr Mother God. She is the woman formerly known as Miss Martindale, and even further formerly known as Mаrу Sсаrlett. This is not a secret, it is not denied by her. In 1990, charges were brought up against her for bodily harm against a young woman who was living with the group at St. Bride's, a woman who apparently began living there because of her interest in the Madrian faith, and was instead made into an actual servant. This was happening concurrently while the household was selling pamphlets about mistress/servant relationships, these pamphlets would later be published through their erotic publishing house, The Wildfire Club. Actual interviews from both women are readily available to listen to in the BBC Assume Nothing podcast from only a few years back. In 1992, Miss Sсаrlett lost the case and was convicted. Furthermore, the core Aristasians, of which Miss Martindale was among, were actively involved in mingling with white supremist groups, and these particular groups have recently cited their works at the time as "influential among the UK radical right". Even before all of this, before Aristasia and even Romantia, Lux Madriana (of which Miss Martindale was a member of, going by several different names) was actively excommunicated and declared as "not Madrians" by the larger Matriarchal groups in Europe prior to 1989.

If you have not, I strongly recommend listing to the BBC interviews with both Mary and Sophia (I believe they are episodes 4 & 5) if you believe all of these actions are too far in the past to matter, to hear for yourself Miss Martindale's thoughts on the matter only a couple years ago.

I am not a filianist, I am only an amateur archivist of Aristasia. I do not necessarily have a horse in the particular race of who attends who's chapel or reads who's version of the scriptures. I only know about the stories that people have shared over the past 4 decades.
