This is what I'd like to call true character development.

He's actually happy for Sadie and Shep. Old Lars would always let his feelings dictate his actions and put himself first over those he loved. But now he's grown up so much and learned how to have a healthy relationship even after being rejected. Props to Rebecca Sugar for this!
