There was no denying that Noah and David were good together. They made each other better versions of each other. It was the kind of love their parents that and the kind of love Wills hoped to find himself. âIt wonât end just because the two of you go back to work as long as you two still find time for each other, which I know you will. Youâll see.â Wills says reassuringly, nodding back at his twin. He canât help but chuckle when David mentions being his best man, shaking his head a bit. âI think you have some time to get ready. Iâm not headed towards the aisle any time soon.â The actor points out, snorting at the mention of the houseplants. âShut up, your plants are totally fine and you know it! I looked after them just fine.â Wills knows David is teasing, though his smile settles into a thin line, running a hand through his hair. âI know. I know I donât have to, but I donât want to be handed projects either just because of our name. I want to earn it.â It was hard though, the waiting. Wills tried his best to be patient. He put in his time, took the roles he felt were right for him no matter how big or small. He knew he was doing all of the right things, but sometimes he still felt like he was treading water, working so hard only to be right back where he started. âYeah. LA should hopefully be good. Iâm looking at a couple of pilots right now, so who knows.âÂ
David was so grateful and happy for how well his family had taken to Noah. Family was important to both of them. He knew, no matter how much he loved Noah, had his family not approved, they wouldnât be here today, married. He was even more grateful for how Noah had taken to his family, how he had embraced what the Scavo-Healy represented, and how willing he was to be part of them. Noah, who took his name and all the baggage and heavy responsibilities that came with it. âWe will.â He agreed softly, a smile still lingering on his lips, nodding as his twin reassured him on how they would always find time for each other. They would. David knew so in his heart. âAlright, alright, Mr. Bachelor 2000.â He teased, rolling his eyes playfully. âGood thing theyâre good indoor plants that can survive two weeks without watering or else...â David was kidding, of course. They both knew the plants were fine. The plants he was so obsessed with to add some aesthetic to his and Noahâs apartment but didnât really think through the fact his job also required him to travel, often, soon. Chewing on his cheek as he listened to Wills and nodded with understanding, David smiled. âYouâre good, Wills. Dad sees it. We all see it. It just takes time but I know your break is right around the corner.â He was certain of it. They were all so proud of Wills. The Scavo-Healy were all incredibly proud of each other. David pursed his lips at the mention of LA, wondering what that would be not just for his brother but him and Ez. He didnât ask, though, and didnât bring it up, because he knew whatever it was they were working on, theyâd work through this as well. He just wanted to see Wills happy. He never wanted to see Wills the way he was after Ezra left New York. âMaybe Iâll crash at your place when Iâm over next time, then. Itâll be fun, just like old times.â
