I did an interview a while back for the @Office #FirstDrafts campaign. It was fun discussing how I approach new projects and problems and the power of embracing mistakes. Whether your doing creative work or not, take an extra moment in the initial steps of development when your piece is coming into fruition to acknowledge the liberation you have with a blank canvas. Don't be intimidated by an empty page, mistakes can only help you learn your craft. “People are going to love it or not. Being comfortable with your own taste and really knowing that well throughout the creation process helps as a metric knowing, OK, if I enjoy this and I like it, that’s all that matters. People just want to see you having fun, performing something that you love and being passionate about it.”
