Sullight: Changes

David growled again and jerked away from Logan when he mentioned getting rid of Desmond. The wolf hesitated, then retreated, allowing David to take over again. “No, Lo, No. Why won’t you let me help you? First, you always smell like other people, like that stupid fallen angel, then you close me off like this? Not letting me help you? Do you not want to be what we were? Is that it? Has something changed?” David’s hands trembled slightly, but he kept his chin in the air, and his eyes on Logan’s, watching carefully.

Logan sighed. “I don’t want you to help me, because I don’t want you to get hurt. Taking you with me puts you in harms way. I smell like other people because they are HERE David. They are here and available. You have no idea how hard I have to fight to keep control over my vampire anymore. There is a very thin line and I tread it. I don’t care what you have to say about Sadie, but she’s here. Logan is hungry. I can’t stop him all the time. He’s killed a human. He fucked another with Julian. Do you think you can stop him from going after Desmond? Do you think you can stop me? There is no way. Desmond HURT Derek. He hurt Sebastian. If you go with us, he’s going to hurt you!”

David frowned and growled. "I'm here too! I'm here, and why can't that be enough?!" He huffed and paced. "He's going to hurt YOU if you go alone. Do you think I can bare that? Honestly? Because if you do then you know nothing about this. If you go, Lo, if you go after him without me, you'll sever our tie. I won't be able to stand it."

David bristled when Logan moved closer, but at Desmond’s name, he stopped. The wolf whimpered and cowered. His head butt against Logan’s knee and he whimpered again, a long, sad sound coming from him.

Logan reached down and petted David. “Hey now, It’s okay. David…have you met him?”Logan asked his voice thick with worry. “Listen to me. I’m going to get rid of him, once and for all.”

David growled and turned to face Logan. The wolf had ultimate control. It crouched down and glared at Logan, baring his teeth and slowly walking forward. A deep, guttural growl sounded through the woods.

Logan crouched down and faced David. “Calm down, David. I’m not going to hurt you. Are you going to run away from me just because I want to kill Desmond. Calm down my David.”

David bristled when Logan moved closer, but at Desmond's name, he stopped. The wolf whimpered and cowered. His head butt against Logan's knee and he whimpered again, a long, sad sound coming from him.

The wolf growled and pushed faster, kicking up dirt. He wove in and out of trees, his muscles rippling and his lips pulled into a snarl as he ran. He kept moving, trying to run as fast as he could. He felt the frustration and anger pump through his veins as he ran.

Logan ran through the dirt, making a little dust cloud. From somewhere, far away, he could hear his name being called. This only made Logan run faster, chase after David more. “David!” he screamed and shot through straight hoping to cut the werewolf off as he ran.

David growled and turned to face Logan. The wolf had ultimate control. It crouched down and glared at Logan, baring his teeth and slowly walking forward. A deep, guttural growl sounded through the woods.

ooc: It's me. Sorry, I got super overloaded with homework yesterday, and major family drama broke over, I'll get on it soon, and be back to rp'ing as soon as I get this essay done.

Logan took a deep breath and ran after David. “David~!” he called in the darkness as he tore through the woods. He picked up speed as he easily followed after David’s path of destruction. He picked up speed, trying desperately to keep up.

The wolf growled and pushed faster, kicking up dirt. He wove in and out of trees, his muscles rippling and his lips pulled into a snarl as he ran. He kept moving, trying to run as fast as he could. He felt the frustration and anger pump through his veins as he ran.

Logan petted David’s hair. “I know it is not a joke, my David. I have to protect the creatures of this campus too. If Desmond came here…there would be chaos at bare minimum. You don’t have a plan. I do. When you come up with a plan, then, I’ll think about you coming. Until then, stay here. Watch over Sebastian. I won’t go alone, I promise. Does that help?”

David yanked away from Logan's touch and growled low and deep. "No. That doesn't help and it isn't acceptable." A shudder ran through the wolf as he pictured Desmond hurting Logan. "No!" He trembled and stood up, suddenly bolting out of the room. He ran out onto the grounds and quickly transformed, scaring a small pixie that he passed. He was furious and out of control. He ran, tearing through the forest, no thought to look around him or to see where he was going.

Logan shook his head. “No. Jules is not coming. Neither are you. You need to stay here and look after them. Okay?” Logan arched his neck again. “We can’t leave Dalton alone with the yearling, now can we?” he joked. “And what about Derek?”

David growled fiercely and moved off of Logan. "No, this is not a joke. You do not go by yourself." He growled and happily and shook his head. "There too many damn creatures on this campus for you to do this alone. Someone else will watch the yearling. We'll figure out Derek. I don't know how much we can trust him around Desmond... but the point is, you don't face him alone." The wolf growled and pushed his face into Logan's neck, growling softly in his ear.

Logan pouted. ”You really don’t understand do you. Desmond has to be stopped. He has to be stopped now before anyone else is hurt. Me taking care of you means me keeping you safe.” Logan rubbed David’s head. “Okay, baby, I understand. I’m not going to leave you.” Logan gasped when David was pinned down to the bed. “Are you up to it My David?”

David sighed and nodded. "I understand that, but you don't do anything without me." He nuzzled into Logan's hand and nodded. "No. You're not. If you go after Desmond, so do I, so does Julian. And anyone else willing to come. You don't go alone." He growled happily and bite Logan's neck. "Are you up to it Logan?" He smirked.

The vampire just grunted, smirking at the wolf as his back hit the tree again. “Oooh, kitty’s getting angry, I like it. Kinda feisty.” He winked at David, before chuckling. “Funny how you only said Logan and Derek. So you would have no problem if I didn’t stay away from Julian? Aren’t Logan and Julian together?” He raised a challenging eyebrow at the wolf.

The wolf growled and slammed the vampire back a third time in frustration. David growled, worried that the wolf would loose control. "No, you stay away from Julian. You stay away from everyone at this damn school." He snarled and pressed his face closer, nose nearly touching the vampire's. "Do not challenge me, child."

Smirking as he could feel the wolf come out of the other boy, Sebastian growled lowly, “See, now doesn’t that feel better? Instead of being cooped up inside the damn human? It’s amazing, ain’t it?” He asked, smirking as David came closer. His nostrils flaring, the vampire could smell the power coming from the wolf, and growled.

David growled deeper. "Shut it," he snarled loudly. "Here's the deal, you stay away from Logan and Derek. You keep to yourself, and you behave here. Or you'll deal with me." He yanked the vampire forward then slammed him backward again. "Do you understand?" He snapped loudly, his hands gripping the vampire as strongly as he could.

The vampire chuckled, his black eyes staring into Davids, and he could sense the wolf wanting to come out. “Why don’t you just let yourself go? You know you want to. You’ve done it before, and from what you’ve said, with Logan many times.” He put his hands up in surrender as David pushed him against the tree. “An army. What for, I don’t know, we only worked for him, and damn it was good working for him.” Inside, the human was whimpering, but the vampire just rolled his eyes.

David growled, feeling the wolf do exactly what Sebastian asked. His eyes narrowed at the mention of Logan, and he pulled moved his arms back, then straight forward, heaving his weight forward and slamming Sebastian back against the tree. He growled and pushed his face in front of the vampire's. "You called? Did you want to play?" The wolf snarled.

The vampire growled loudly at the mention of Desmond. “He’s creating an army, an army that I was supposed to be a part of, until the he got in the way.” The vampire stepped closer to David, baring his fangs, and chuckled when he saw David crouch. “I’m not taking advantage, just trying to show him the better side of the world, then this fake one everyone’s trying to live under.” Sebastian waved his hand at the school’s direction.

David growled and slammed himself into the vampire, pushing him against a tree. His muscles tensed and his face was filled with anger. "An army? What the hell are you talking about? What is Desmond planning? And this world isn't fake. Its here, its called an attempt. One that has been succeeding, in case you haven't noticed." David's eyes glared and watched the vampire. He struggled to keep Sebastian pinned against the tree, pushing all of his strength into the effort, but keeping his body ready to react.
