Does anyone else really dislike the "catbeast" design? Anytime im reading a comic from the 2000s it always just flashbangs me. I am curious what other people's thuoghts on it are. I much prefer when he's more gorilla-y cause that is more in line with his original mutation, i really dont get the cat/lion thing at all

lol imagine if there was a whole class of people considered inappropriate for sports and made to perform biological tests to determine arbitrary athletic viability, even when they statistically very rarely win any of the sports they compete in and therefore demonstrably do not possess a meaningful advantage over others.

imagine if paranoia about this reached such a state that even people adjacent to that demographic were subjected to the same cartoonishly fiendish moral crusades just for possessing a resemblance to the stereotyped notion of that demographic.

RIP Peter David

Today one of the greatest comic book writers of all time, Peter David, passed away. He's written some of my favorite works such as his fantastic incredible hulk run, x-factor, young justice and spider-man 2099. As well as stories like the death of jean dewolff. One of the funniest and most heartfealt comic book writers there's ever been, equally capable of writing dark stories.

Makes me tremendously sad, his work is one of the things that made me a comic book fan for life.

Am i the only one who prefers the earlier not quite so defined rocky thing? The smoother lines make him actually look monstrous instead of charming, which helps with how he seems himself much more. It also fits the original idea of it being a thick dinasaur like skin more.
