Meanwhile, “Nothing, Except Everything,” a short film from writer-director Wesley Wang will have its world premiere at the Oscar-qualifying Indy Shorts International Film Festival on July 22. The film stars David Mazouz (Fox’s “Gotham”) and Lily Chee (Netflix’s “Daredevil”) and is produced by Oscar-short listed producer Scott Aharoni (“Leylak”).

The film follows Miles, a high school senior wrestling with college applications, fleeting relationships, and is wrestling with a growing sense of nihilism. In his haze, Miles begins fixating on the number seven, leading him through different points in his life in a desperate attempt to find a disguise of order in all the chaos.

Jan 25, 2012 Jake appeared on our TV’s for the first time. I remember tuning in for the pilot and being absolutely blown away by the concept of the show. I wish they had gotten a third season to at least finish the story properly.
