Friendly Dinner → Brittany + David
Tossing her head back a little bit, Brittany let out a chuckle. She smiled at him and crossed her legs, raising her glass to him before taking a sip. “I’m a little young to be drinking period but they don’t card here and it’s not going to stop me anyway. ” With a small laugh, she took a sip and looked him up and down. As the drink warmed her up, the thought occurred to Britt that the scotch she was drinking was older than her. “You clean up nicely, Dave. I haven’t seen you outside practices and games before. I mean I already knew you were handsome but you really look nice.” Shooting him a wink, the blonde finished her drink and put her glass down on the bar, hopping off the bar stool. “Well? Shall we?”
David stood there awkwardly not sure how to handle this. Brittany was her own person, fully capable of making her own decisions. And yet, what she was doing was very illegal. The right thing to do would be to report the Grille for serving to underage people. But was that really his place? This town had always seemed to run on strange rules, maybe this was another one of those cases. "To each their own," he said, goodnaturedly. If that was her choice, it was her choice.
His face turned a soft hue of pink as Brittany complimented him. He still wasn't used to getting compliments about his appearance from her. Part of him was certain she only did it to mess with him, the other half...well, that was more complicated. Maybe she did like him, but that wasn't a road that David was able to go down right now, maybe he'd never be ready. "Thank you," he said shyly, ducking his head a little to break eye contact. He tried not to check her out too much as she stood up. She always looked good to him, but pointing that out probably wasn't the best idea under the circumstances. "We shall," he replied, holding out his arm for her to take.
