“It’s Just Butter” • • • My ad for @giphy “Your Ad Here” Art Show that showcases all the artist in the GIPHY LA office. Since the theme was Ads, immediately knew that I wanted to do an editorial fashion spread (no pun intended) for the most mundane item I could think of, butter. I was inspired by the opulence of perfume commercials, i.e. @charlizeafrica coming out of a pool in a full ball gown but not looking wet, and the beautiful editorials I see on the pages of @voguemagazine & @wmag. I was hoping for people to walk away feeling like they want to be these women who are living their luxe life with their luxe butter.
