Thank you! I wonder if the artist is one I studied last year for art class, Russell Fenn (also known as Sofles)? He’s done a mix of realistic murals and ones more closer to a comic book/Pop art style. I specifically chose to look at his stuff because I could see aspects of my style. Since he’s also heavily influenced by the comic book styles. The graffiti is all over the world too so I wouldn’t be surprised. (Though there’s that many graffiti artists might be a different person lol)

There is nothing you can do that is more immoral than their abuse.
You can take a bunch of their money. You can use their cards to book tickets to where you aren’t going.
You can use some cash to get a temp phone.
You can throw the phone they have for you in a burning waste bin.
You can leave, and show up in a new city with “amnesia”.
If someone manages to find your abuser and attempt to return you? Hysterical panic attack about the beating and other abuse in front of authorities will throw a bit of a wrench in that.
None of that is easy or simple.
You can also lie to them for long enough to put a better plan together. That’s also not easy, but may be safer in the short term. (You would have to repress a lot of yourself for a while, you can get an alt device for maintaining comms, but they’ll be minimal while you’re selling the image of what the abuser wants to see.)
Being/getting safe, is not something to moralize about. Do what you need to do, and get therapy about it later if you need to.
