Just gonna put this here- this is likely my last DW post ever (obviously due to the controversy and whatnot), so get excited for me to dabble in with some other fandoms! Itās been a wild ride but I am so ready to move on hehehā¦.
First, I want to apologize to you, I should have told you about this when I first found out, but my own nerves and processing have gotten in the way of that. This isnāt a post I want to make, but I know a lot of you come here for your dandyās world news, and itās my responsibility to keep you updated on things like this.
There is sufficient evidence Qwel was aware of Rox being a groomer as easily as 2021, and the both of them have been grooming and manipulating their staff.

As of yet, Qwel has yet to make a statement or even acknowledge whatās happening, but considering she has a habit of trying to ignore hints that reflect badly on her, Iām sure her suddenly going MIA isnāt a coincidence.
I know itās a lot to process and Iām sure you feel powerless, but letās start with what we can do.
1. Start putting pressure on Qwel. The comments for the YouTube channel and TikTok comments are still open. Let her know that she needs to acknowledge whatās happening. That being said, no insults, no threats, nothing like that. Not because she needs to be treated gently, but I know people like her, and behavior like that is only going to make her feel like what sheās doing now is justified
2. No financially supporting the game. That means no buying game passes, no merch, no ichor. If she wonāt act like she cares about the fanbase, then we gotta start hitting her where it hurts, her wallet.
3. Do what you can to support the victims. Obviously you shouldnāt push yourself beyond what you can handle, but believe what they say, spread the word around. It takes a lot of courage to speak out, and we need to show up when they do.
From what I can tell the victims, at least Joji, are fine with people still engaging with the community and making fan content, as long as it doesnāt financially support Qwel. I donāt know what that means for you, I canāt decide that for you, and I donāt want to. But I canāt in good conscience pretend nothing is happening and not at least try to use whatever power I have to sway folks away from buying things in game.
What does that mean for this blog? I donāt know. Iād like to keep updating the board, but I worry at this point it would be more of an advertisement for the game itself. You guys might me see more of my general nonsense and of my plush, but if anyone has any other suggestions, please let me know.
Finally, and this is very important. A lot of people are going to tell you otherwise a lot, and itās going to feel true, but youāre not a bad person for having complex thoughts on a complex problem. Youāre not a bad person for worrying about whatās going to happen to something you emotionally connected to. Youāre not a bad person for being afraid of losing something that means a lot to you.

I know the Easter event juust ended, but I couldnāt resist the urge to draw my girl if she got a golden skin of her own- especially since now we know every toon will eventually get a golden skin with the whole new ātoon of the weekā thingy (which, I am SO HYPED FOR?)

Well itās no worries, because I have now redesigned her!! And I might add, itās a huge improvement from the one I made.. wow.. all the way last yearš

I actually havenāt seen the new lore in the recent update (besides the music video of course) meaning I havenāt watched the tape with cocoa and Delilah and seen inside the new room yet..
My interpretation of Bassieās and Cocoaās lore went somewhat like this; the whispering flower grew in Bassieās head as some sort of strange malfunction, slowly turning stronger in its power, and begun to send messages telepathically to its host (Bassie). This led Bassie to have numerous migraines, and she couldnāt think straight- turning to close herself away from other toons, eventually making her think that they liked Cocoa over her purely because they were always around her. However, they just wanted their old Bassie back. Nothing changed until the events of the āWiltedā song when, well, you know how it goesā¦ they come on good terms again, Bassie feels more like herself, the whispering flower almost felt like it never existed- and then Bassie had to see everything that gardenview made to push Cocoa as the new āmainā with plushies, merch, etc. That was when Bassie completely lost it, becoming the twisted self we all know today.
I also like to headcanon that Twisted Bassie has full control over all of the plants in gardenview, and is able to make them overgrow to a large extent (since when she spawns, her twisted forms numerous blossoms along the ground!)
I guess I kind of went on a tangent there, whoopsā¦ ahahā¦
ANYWAYS GO HAVE FUN EASTER. ACTIVITIES. UH. EGGS!
